In 2016, we added this webpage “Big Picture” to remind our brothers and sisters in faith to keep our mind and deeds consistent with our faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. Presented below in this webpage are a few reminders. You may wonder why we titled this webpage “Big Pictures”. There are so much deceptions in the world that many of us prone to wander.  People make many wrong moves because they lose the big pictures.  Just like driving a car to a place, we need to know the overall route map so the changes of road conditions such as detour etc will not lead us astray.

 在2016年，我們添加了這個網頁“大局觀”，提醒虔誠的兄弟姐妹們，要保持我們的心靈和行為，與我們對主耶穌基督的信心一致。以下是這個網頁所提出的幾個提醒。你可能會想知道為什麼我們稱這個網頁為“大局觀”。世界上有這麼多的欺騙、假像，讓我們許多人陷入其中而迷失、被騙。人們做了許多錯誤的舉動，因為他們失去了大局觀的瞭解。就像要開車到一個地方，我們需要完整的路線圖，明白道路條件的變化，如迂迴、岔路等等，我們才不會誤入歧途。

Big Picture 1—For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.(1 Corinthians 2:2)

大局觀 1-- 因為我曾定了主意，在你們中間不知道別的，只知道耶穌基督並他釘十字架。(哥林多前書2：2)

If you ever think about “lost in the details”, each of us has our personality: some are good in multitasking; some are good at focusing on the single task. We can not say which is better because  some people who are good at multitasking may be so busy on everything and yet complete nothing really important. A case in point is that most of us are busy in pursuing something all through our lives, yet only a few come to realize that without Jesus Christ everything the world offers will be just  as those fade and decay in our graves.

如果你想到“迷失在細節”，我們每個人都有自己的個性：有的人擅長可以同時處理許多工作，有的人喜歡專心一次處理單一任務。我們不能說哪個比較好，因為一些善於多重任務的人，可能會如此忙於每一工作，但卻無法完成真正重要任務。一個典型的例子是，我們大多數人都忙於追求我們的生活中某些事情，但只有少數人意識到，沒有耶穌基督，世界所提供的一切，將如同我們在墳墓中的一切，會腐爛消失。

If you take a “Big Picture” view of this world, it is clear that the mother of all the world's ills is that they do not recognize God as God. Therefore, their minds are darkened and their deeds are futile per God’s decree in Romans Chapter 1. That is why through the ages, the world is still without peace and real prosperity. Kings and empires came and went. All the genus and pundits tried through history to spin the truth in vain. Why do we remind you on this? Because if you forget this Big Picture view, you would be spun by the world system until the Kingdom Comes.

如果你對這個世界有一個“大局觀”的看法，很明顯，世界上所有的弊病的源頭，是他們不承認上帝是上帝。因此，根據上帝在羅馬書第1章的法令，他們的心靈變黑暗了，他們的行為是徒勞的。這就是為什麼歷經這麼多的年代，世界仍然沒有和平和真正的繁榮。國王和帝國來了又走了，興起又滅亡。歷史上所有的天才和專家，都曾試圖旋轉真理，卻徒然無功。為什麼我們提醒你這一點？因為如果你忘記，這大局觀的宏大看法，你會被世界系統翻轉，直到主的王國到來。

More importantly, as a Christian, you should already know that  the word “Christian” without “Christ “, we are left with “ian” which means I am nothing. Indeed, that is why Apostle Paul so adamantly insisted in Philippians 3:7-12. All without Christ is but an empty dream because Christ is everything to us !  Actually, Apostle Peter said the same thing in 2 Peter 3:18. Apostle John said the same thing as well in 1 John 1:1-4.

更重要的是，作為一個基督徒，你應該已經知道，沒有“基督(Christ)”的“基督徒(Christian)”一詞，我們留下“ian”，這意味著我們什麼都不是。的確，這就是為什麼使徒保羅，在腓立比書3：7-12中如此堅持。所有沒有基督的一生，只是一場空夢，因為基督是我們的一切！事實上，使徒彼得在彼得前書3:18中說過同樣的話。使徒約翰在約翰一書1：1-4中也說了同樣的話。

So Big Picture Warning 1— Make absolutely  sure to seek after our Lord Jesus Christ. He loves His own, all Christians, to the end. Make sure we have daily devotion and sweet fellowship with Him. Make absolutely sure that He is the purpose and goal of your life!

所以大局觀警告1 - 絕對要尋求我們的主耶穌基督。祂愛祂的所有基督徒到底。確保我們每天都愛祂且歡喜的追隨祂。絕對確保祂是你生命的目的和目標！

Big Picture 2-Watch the lies of the World and do not behave like one of them!
大局觀 2  - 小心世界的謊言，不要淪為他們一夥！

There is a good saying that we sometimes paid too much attention to the trees but lose the view of the forest. If you ask any real Christian, he/she will clearly admit that Jesus Christ is his/her personal Savior and Lord. Yet so many of us are influenced by the post modernism and support many anti-Bible and anti-Christ fads promoted by lies through main stream media. We may legitimately ask how could this be! You may ask what are we talking about. The following examples are but a few reminders.
有一個好的說法，我們有時會過分注意樹木，而錯失了觀看森林。如果你問任何一個真正的基督徒，他/她將清楚地、承認耶穌基督是他/她的個人救主和主。然而，我們中的許多人，受後現代主義的影響，而支持主流媒體所煽動、許許多多反聖經和反基督的謊言。我們可以合法地問怎麼會這樣！你可能會問，我們在說什麼。下面的例子只是一些提醒。

Our Lord told us clearly that we were purchased from this world with immense price of the blood of the Son of God who died for the penalty of our sin to redeem us. Our Lord said that we are in this world but we are not of the world. Now what does it means to be not of the world. We all know that this world was corrupt and the evil rampages. This means that the Devil and his people keep feeding lies in the world. People lie and cheat when they are corrupt. For example, a corrupt plumbing contractor will charge you wrongly with the work you do not need or they did not perform. In other words, they lie and practice deceits. So if you are Christians, how can you practice lies and deceits in dealing with yourself and your neighbors. 
我們的主清楚地告訴我們，我們是上帝從這個世界中，用很大的代價、上帝兒子無比珍貴的寶血，將我們贖回的。是我們的主替我們的罪受懲而死，將我們贖回的。主說，我們是在這個世界，但我們不屬於這世界。現在，我們不屬於這世界是意味什麼？我們都知道，這個世界是充滿腐敗，邪惡到處猖獗的。這意味著魔鬼和他的子民繼續在世界上製造謊言，來飼養人們。當人們變腐敗時，他們就會說謊和欺騙。例如，腐敗的管道承包商，將用不需要的工程或他們沒有執行的工作，騙取你、錯誤且不當的高額費用。換句話說，他們說謊和實踐欺騙的行為。所以，如果你是基督徒，在面對自己和你的鄰居時，你怎能說著謊言和做欺騙的行為。

Another example would be. If all of us Christians are not of the world, why utilize the world strategies in the operations of the Church. So we need to watch our heart so we shall be honest. This is just half the “Big Picture”. The other half is that we need to know that the world’s big mouth, the main stream media, are full of hidden lies and deceptions. They would report filtered news that they want you to see. Things that they do not want you to see you can not get from them. 
另一個例子是。如果我們所有的基督徒都不屬於這世界，為什麼在教會的運作時，要用這世界的策略、作法？所以我們需要注意我們的心靈，保持我們的正直、誠實。這只是“大局觀”的一半。另一半是我們需要知道，世界的大嘴巴”主流媒體”，充滿了隱性的謊言和欺騙。他們會，只報告經篩選、濾過的，他們希望你看到、知道的新聞。你是不可能，從他們那裡得到，他們不想讓你看到、知道的消息。

Another good example is that main stream media lie about God. Of course, they would not openly say that God is dead because people will know that is a great lie. So they said that there is no absolute truth or said that truth is relative. What they means is that you have your own truth and I have my own truth. You have your definition of evil and I have my definition of evil.  What they means  is that there is no absolute truth in the world and hence no absolute truth in the Bible as well. So when they do not like the definition of the marriage in the Bible, they redefine it.  According to them, there is no absolute righteous and sovereign God. Now let me ask you how we as  Christians do not react to this as if this has nothing to do with us. How can you accept all the fads of video games and so called entertainments that corrupt your heart and mind. More importantly, take all your time and your attention away from the Bible  and away from forming a close relation with your Savior.

另一個好的例子，是主流媒體有關上帝的謊言。當然，他們不會公開說上帝死了，因為人們會知道這是一個很大的謊言。所以他們說，沒有絕對的真理，或是說真相是相對的。他們的意思是，你有你自己的真理，我有我自己的真理。你有你的邪惡的定義，我有我的邪惡的定義。他們的意思是，世界上沒有絕對真理，因此在聖經上，也沒有絕對真理。所以當他們不喜歡聖經中對婚姻的定義時，他們就會重新定義。根據他們，沒有絕對正義和主權的上帝。現在讓我問你，我們作為基督徒，怎能好像與我們無關一般，對此沒有任何反應？你怎麼能接受所有的流行的視頻遊戲和所謂的娛樂，來腐敗你的心和靈。更重要的是，把你所有的時間和注意力從聖經中分離出來，而讓你無法與你的救主形成密切的關係。

If you are a good parent, you know very well what video games will do to your kid’s eyesight, mind set, and school work. Yet you see many kids from Christian families are hooked in the video game. Take a Big Picture view about your kids and find out where they are in this deceptive world. Then ,take another look about yourself. How could you buy the wholesale lies of the world through main stream media propaganda. The latest statistics indicated that 6.7% college graduates prefer to play video games to live in a fantasy world rather than actively seeking jobs. Scary, isn’t it?
如果你是一個好的父母，你很清楚什麼樣的視頻遊戲會影響你的孩子視力、心靈、和學校課業。然而你看到，許多來自基督教家庭的孩子，沉迷在電子遊戲裡。看看你的孩子的大局觀，並找出他們在這個欺騙世界的位置。然後，再看看你自己。你怎麼可以，經由主流媒體的宣傳，購買、接受世界的整批謊言。最新的統計數據顯示，6.7％的大學畢業生喜歡玩視頻遊戲，生活在一個幻想世界中，而不是積極尋找工作。令人吃驚，不是嗎？

In detecting deception, first thing we should note is that the language used by a deceiver  is always very enticing and politically correct. They play on your kindness or your innocence to accept their deceits just as the Devil’s temptation to Eve was a very enticing lie. The only way to detect the lies is to compare their policies (not their words) to the values taught in the Bible. 
要察覺欺騙，首先我們要注意的是，誘惑言論總是非常誘人和政治正確的。他們玩弄你的善意或利用你的天真、單純，接受了他們的欺騙。就像魔鬼的誘惑夏娃，就是用一個非常誘人的謊言。察覺謊言的唯一方法，是將他們的政策（不是他們的言論）與聖經所教導的價值作比較。

Big Picture Warning 2: How could you as a Christian accept anti-Bible and anti-Christ policies! Worst, how could you practice lies in your own life
所以大局觀警告 2: 作為基督徒的你，怎麼能接受反聖經和反基督的政策！最糟糕的是，你怎麼能在自己的生活中，說著謊言，自己騙自己？

Big Picture 3 — For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?  Matthew 16:26
大局觀3 -- 人圖什麼利？
"人若賺得全世界，賠上自己的生命，有什麼益處呢？人還能拿什麼換生命呢？" (馬太福音16:26)

There are more than two billion people living on this Earth. But the earth is a planet in the universe that contains billion and billion stars. Just wonder how many people would have chance of even looking at the night sky and thinking about how minute a place we are in the cosmic history. Physicists codify the irreversible arrow of Time by the second law of thermodynamics which basically says that we will all decay into chaos in the end. It is very sad beyond description and rationalization!
這個地球上有超過二十億人口。但地球是包含數十億星球的宇宙中的一個行星。只是想知道，有多少人會有機會看著夜空，並思考到我們身處的地方，在宇宙歷史中佔著多麼微小的位置？物理學家通過熱力學第二定律，編寫出時間的不可逆箭頭，這基本上說，我們最終都會蛻變成混亂。這真是非常悲傷，令人無法描述和合理化的！

We all know this picture is not pretty. However, there is a great good news offered by our Creator God that “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”. (John 3:16) This great blessing is free for anybody by faith in Jesus Christ. We should all remember this: although it is free to us  by God’s love, it caused God’s Son to die at the Calvary Cross for our sins! Amazing Grace and infinite God’s love to us Christians indeed! In case that you have a careless view on sin, the Bible reminds us that the end result of sin is death as described in Romans Chapter 5.
我們都知道這個情景圖片不漂亮。然而，我們的創造主神，提供了一個偉大的好消息：“神愛世人，甚至將他的獨生子賜給他們，叫一切信他的不致滅亡，反得永生。"（約翰福音3:16）。這個大祝福是，信靠耶穌基督的任何人都可以得到的。我們都應該記住這一點：雖然是上帝的愛，讓我們免費得到永生，但這讓神的兒子在十字架為我們的罪而死了！確實是，給我們基督徒的驚人的恩典和上帝無限的愛！如果你對罪惡，報著不在意的看法，聖經提醒我們，罪的最終結果是，如羅馬書第5章所描述的死亡。

If a person would take a Big Picture view of the shortness of life in this world and would learn from one’s own experience of the hardship that one endures to make a living in this evil world, then surely one would return to our Creator to receive the priceless gift of eternal life.
如果一個人，用一個大局觀的觀點，來看這個世界的短暫生命，並且從自己個人在這個邪惡世界生活忍受的艱苦，所學到的經驗，那麼肯定地，一個人將回到我們的創作者，接受永恆生命的無價禮物。

In this world, we all spend tremendous amount of time and energy to preserve our health. Billions of dollars are spent in the medicine and doctor’s visits all over the world. Yet, illnesses prevail and sufferings abound with no way to escape. Throughout history, all cultures irregardless of race and countries, all have expressed this hope of salvation through poetry and medical research. Civilizations came and went! All great or small kings, wisemen, gurus, orators,and philosophers, etc., were no more.  So let us all ask ourselves this question raised by our Lord Jesus Christ: For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?  (Matthew 16:26). This is a Big Picture each of us needs to see it clearly!
在這個世界上，我們都花大量的時間和精力來維護我們的健康。數十億美元花在醫學教育研究和世界各地的醫療。然而，疾病仍漫延著，造成無法逃避的巨大痛苦。縱觀歷史，所有文化，無論種族和國家，都通過詩歌和醫學研究，表達了期盼救恩的希望。文明來了又走了！所有大大小小的國王，智者，大師，演說家和哲學家等等，都消失沒有了。所以，讓我們問自己，這個主耶穌基督提出的問題：一個人圖什麼利？"人若賺得全世界，賠上自己的生命，有什麼益處呢？人還能拿什麼換生命呢？"(馬太福音16:26)。這是一個大局觀，我們每個人都需要仔細看清楚！

So Big Picture Warning 3 — Accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord today because tomorrow may not belong to you!

所以大局觀警告3-- 今天就接受耶穌基督作為你個人的救主和主，因為明天可能不屬於你！

Big Picture 4 —Do you truly love your Lord Jesus Christ?

大局觀 4  - 你真的愛你的主耶穌基督嗎？

This is to reminder us believers that we should not lose our discernment and wander off into the worldly traps. In other words, we should not be of the world fads that we forget who we are as Christ’s redeemed people. In other words, we need to know ourselves that we love our Lord more than anything else each moment of our lives!

這是為了提醒我們信徒，我們不應該失去我們的認知辨別，而迷失在世俗的陷阱。換句話說，我們不應該沉浮於這世界的潮流，而忘記我們是基督所救贖的人。也就是說，我們需要知道自己，我們愛我們的主，勝過我們每一個生活時刻中的任何東西！

Apostle John warned us that we are in a war with the evil one in 1 John 2:14 which said “ 
14 I have written to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.” Our life on this earth is fighting a war to overcome the evil one who controls the world. Our Lord Jesus Christ told his disciples that the world will hate them because they do not belong to the world (See John 15:18-19). 

使徒約翰警告我們，我們正在與邪惡的人作戰中，如約翰一書2:14所說：
"14父老啊，我曾寫信給你們，因為你們認識那從起初原有的。少年人哪，我曾寫信給你們，因為你們剛強，神的道常存在你們心裡，你們也勝了那惡者"。我們在這地上的生命，是在反抗，想要控制世界、邪惡人的戰爭。我們的主耶穌基督告訴祂的門徒，世界將恨他們，因為他們不屬於這個世界。如約翰福音15：18-19所述"恨主者必恨信主的"。18世人若恨你們，你們知道，恨你們以先已經恨我了。19你們若屬世界，世界必愛屬自己的。只因你們不屬世界，乃是我從世界中揀選了你們，所以世界就恨你們。

Dear brothers and sisters in the faith, the world is not neutral and the world hates you and will prosecute you. Please do not be naive. In many countries and regions of the world, many christians are  raped, made into slaves, and beheaded by Christ’ enemies. Do you know who are your enemies?

親愛虔誠的兄弟姐妹們，世界不是中立的，世界討厭你，並將追訴你。請不要天真。在世界許多國家和地區，許多基督徒被強姦，成為奴隸，被基督的敵人斬首。你知道誰是你的敵人嗎？

Let me give you a few examples.
1. False religions’ systems and cohorts are your enemies which include ISIS and jihadist terror extremists. Wake up! Do not be so ignorant that you only recognize your enemy while being beheaded!
2. Anti-Christ and anti-Bible policies are your enemies.
3. Apostle John warned us in 1 John 2:15, “15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world love of the Father is not in him.” What his warning is “if you love the world, then you do not love your God”. Now what does he means “love the world?” He explained it in 1 John 2: 16-17 as  “16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. 17 The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.” Let us see a few examples: anything that absorbs you such as gambling, pornography, video games, illicit drugs, etc are of the world established by the evil one to lead you away from loving your God.

讓我給你幾個例子：
1.假的、偽宗教系統和其黨羽們，就是你的敵人，包括ISIS和聖戰恐怖極端分子。覺醒吧！不要那麼無知，只有在被斬首的時候，才能認出你的敵人！
2.反基督和反聖經的政策，就是你的敵人。
3.使徒約翰，在約翰一書2:15中警告我們，"15不要愛世界和世界上的事。人若愛世界，愛父的心就不在他裡面了"。他的警告是，”如果你愛世界，那麼你就不愛你的上帝"。而他所說的“愛世界"，是什麼意思呢？他在約翰一書2：16-17中解釋為："16因為凡世界上的事，就像肉體的情慾、眼目的情慾並今生的驕傲，都不是從父來的，乃是從世界來的。17這世界和其上的情慾都要過去，唯獨遵行神旨意的，是永遠常存"。讓我們看幾個例子：任何吸引佔據擁有你的東西，如賭博，色情，電子遊戲，非法藥物等，都是由邪惡的世界所建立的，要導致你遠離愛你的神。

Now a few encouragement words. Our Lord Jesus Christ summarized everything into one basic practice for us: to “abide in His love”.  He encouraged his disciples in John 15: 9-10, “9 Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.” So we need to be obedient to our Lord commandments and absolutely not the corruptions of sins from the evil one.  

現在有幾句鼓勵的話。我們的主耶穌基督，將一切歸納成一個基本實踐方法給我們：就是“常在祂的愛裡”。祂在約翰福音15：9-10中鼓勵他的門徒，"9我愛你們，正如父愛我一樣，你們要常在我的愛裡。10你們若遵守我的命令，就常在我的愛裡，正如我遵守了我父的命令，常在他的愛裡"。所以我們需要順從我們上帝的誡命，絕對不是順從邪惡的魔鬼來的，犯罪的腐化汙染。

The following are a few suggestions for your practices：  
1. Practice self denial every moment of each day to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the boastful pride of life.
2. Meditate the Bible teachings everyday!
3. Make prayers your highest daily activities.
4. Love your brothers and sisters in the faith.
5. Please pray this prayer in your heart always many times in a day.

“My Lord who is God loves me so much beyond comprehension that it is my joy to love Him, to adore Him, and to worship Him with all my mind, all my strength, and all my heart.  So help me God, Amen.”

以下是您在實踐時的一些建議：
1.每一天的每一刻實踐捨己，捨棄肉體的情慾，眼睛的情慾和今生的驕傲。
2.每天深思冥想聖經的教義！
3.讓禱告成為你最重要的日常活動。
4.愛你同信仰的兄弟姐妹們。
5.請在一天中，多次在你的心中禱告這個禱告。

“上帝是我的主，上帝如此愛我，遠超出理解。我歡喜愉悅，以我的全力，全意，全心來愛祂，讚美祂，敬拜祂。所以乞求上帝幫助我完成這事，阿們。

Do you really understand that the world hates us Christians violently and wickedly?
In Upper Room Discourse, the night before His crucifixion for our redemption, our Lord warned His disciples recorded in John 15:18-19, The World’s Hatred: "18If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” The world is in a rebellent mode since the revolt of the Devil who usurped the world and became the Prince of the world.
你真的瞭解，世界肆無忌憚地，憎惡我們的基督徒嗎？
在上閣樓論道中，就在耶穌基督為我們救贖被釘十字架的前一天晚上，我們的主警告祂的門徒，世界的仇恨。記錄在約翰福音15：18-19，恨主者必恨信主的。
 "18世人若恨你們，你們知道，恨你們以先已經恨我了。 19你們若屬世界，世界必愛屬自己的。只因你們不屬世界，乃是我從世界中揀選了你們，所以世界就恨你們"。自從魔鬼篡奪世界並成為世界之王，這世界就處於反叛的處境。

In our Lord’s high priestly prayer recorded in John 17:14-15, “ I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. “
Because of this, He encouraged all His followers in John 16:33,  “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

我們主的大祭司的禱告，記錄在約翰福音17：14-15，“14 我已將你的道賜給他們，世界又恨他們，因為他們不屬世界，正如我不屬世界一樣。15我不求你叫他們離開世界，只求你保守他們脫離那惡者“。
因此，祂在約翰福音16:33中，鼓勵所有的追隨者，“33 我將這些事告訴你們，是要叫你們在我裡面有平安。在世上你們有苦難，但你們可以放心，我已經勝了世界"。

As a Christian, do you really listen to our Lord’s preceding warning about our situation in the world! Do you ever think about how much and how severely the world hates us Christians. Do you contemplate the scope and the depth of their hatred of you! Many Christians are silenced in today’s education system such as in university campuses. We can talk or joke about sports or anything, but religion is a taboo subject in your work environment. Because the Bible is in the way constraining the evils of the world, the world considers Christians as narrow minded and bigotry.

作為一個基督徒，你真的聽到我們的主，先前對我們在世界上的狀況的警告嗎？你有沒有想過，世界憎恨我們基督徒的程度是何等的嚴重？你考慮過，他們對你的仇恨的範圍和深度？許多基督徒在今天的教育系統，如在大學校園裡，是保持沉默的。我們可以討論，談笑運動或任何議題，但是宗教，在你的工作環境中是一個禁忌主題。因為聖經是約束世界罪惡的方法，世界認為基督徒是狹隘的和偏執的。

It is very important to look at this situation very seriously if you are truly a follower of Jesus Christ. Wake up Christians! Do you know how many of our brothers and sisters in faith in Iraq and in Syria have been murdered? CNN reported that ISIS leader released an audio to its fighters in Mosul to tell them to fight to death in the current battle at Mosul. CNN provided the text of the audio which clearly identified Christians , Jews, and atheists as their enemies. “The voice, which CNN cannot independently verify as being that of ISIS leader Baghdadi, says that "God's enemies from the Jews, Christians, atheists, Shiites, apostates and all of the world's infidels have dedicated their media, money, army and munitions to fight Muslims and jihadists in the State of Nineveh after they witnessed it become one of the bases of Islam and one of its minarets under the Caliphate." We all saw how cruel that ISIS beheaded Christians.

Wake up Christians! Apostle Paul told us in Ephesians Chapter 6: 10-17 that we are in a Cosmic and Spiritual war.

The Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

清醒吧基督徒！使徒保羅在以弗所書第6章10-17節，告訴我們，我們是身處在宇宙和屬靈的戰爭中。

We need therefore to pray as instructed in Ephesians 6:18
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Do you ever think about what a christian life is all about? You may ask what do you means? As a general observation, christians face many challenges including flesh, the devil, and the world. So what is the big picture about a christian life?
你有沒有想過基督徒的生活是什麼？你可能會問你是什麼意思？作為一般觀察，基督徒面臨著諸如肉體，魔鬼和世界等等的許多挑戰。那麼關於基督徒生活的大局是什麼呢？

Here are a few scripture reminders:

A. In 1 John 1:1-4
1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— 2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. 4 And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.

Christians have great blessings in having fellowship with the Father and with His Son our Lord Jesus Christ. What is a fellowship? A fellowship is to share, to communicate, and to have good times and bad times together. In good times, we share joys with each other. In bad times, we share with each other burdens and help each other. And this is the nature of fellowship in a church.

The fellowship with our Father in heaven and with our Lord Jesus Christ is uniquely different in the sense that we are fellowship with infinite God. Means of fellowship is through prayers, meditations with God words, and services. It is indeed a great blessing for a christian to make great effort each day to fellowship with our God. Continuing an on-going fellowship every day with our Lord is a secret for growing in the likeness of our Lord and through Him we receive grace, mercy, and peace from our loving heavenly Father.

A. 約翰一書1：1-4

1論到從起初原有的生命之道，就是我們所聽見、所看見、親眼看過、親手摸過的。 2這生命已經顯現出來，我們也看見過，現在又作見證，將原與父同在且顯現於我們那永遠的生命傳給你們。

基督徒，在與天父和祂的兒子、我們的主耶穌基督，的團契中，得到很大的祝福。什麼是團契？團契是分享，交流，共同渡過美好和不幸時光。在美好的時候，我們彼此分享歡樂。在不幸的時候，我們彼此分享負擔，互相幫助。這是我們在教會的團契。

我們與、在天上的父親及我們的主耶穌基督的團契，是具有獨一無二的意義，因為是與無限上帝的團契。團契的方法是通過禱告，默想上帝的話語和服事進行交流。一個基督教徒每天能努力與我們神的團契，確實是一個偉大的祝福。每天持續與我們的主團契，是我們得以長成我們主的形象的秘密，並通過祂、我們從愛我們的天父那裡得到恩典，憐憫和平安。

B.  James 1:27 

27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

How to help those in needs and how to escape the contaminations of the world are tasks of our days.
Take keeping ourselves from the lusts of the eyes, the lusts of flesh, and prides of this life as an example. We should not be careless, and be vigilant. Do not be an ignorant and be deceived.
We all are very concerned about physical contaminations such as cancer, virus, and diseases.
Take even more vigilant attitude about contaminants to our soul.

Do not be ignorant and careless about this issue indeed!

B. 雅各書1:27

27在神我們的父面前，那清潔沒有玷汙的虔誠就是看顧在患難中的孤兒寡婦，並且保守自己不沾染世俗。

如何幫助那些需要幫忙、和如何擺脫世界污染是我們日常的任務。
譬如，以保持自己遠離，就像肉體的情慾、眼目的情慾並今生的驕傲，為例。我們不要粗心大意，要警惕。不要愚昧而被欺騙。
我們都要非常關心、防止身體污染，如癌症，病毒和疾病。
我們採取更加警惕的態度，避免對我們靈魂的污染物。

千萬千萬、不要忽視而不關切這個問題！

A Christian is a person who believes in Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior and Lord. But not all Christians continue to pursue diligently to know Him and to have a lively fellowship with Him each and every day of their lives. Do you really know that as a Christian you lost unspeakable joy and great blessing if you do not have fellowship with the all loving Lord of yours each day!
基督徒，是一個相信耶穌基督、是他/她的個人救主和主的人。但是，並不是所有的基督徒、都會繼續努力去認識祂，並且每一天的生活中、都和祂有熱絡的團契。你真的知道嗎？作為一個基督徒，如果你每天沒有與你所至愛的主團契，就會失去無法形容的快樂和祝福！

First of all, you should know eternal life was granted to each Christian from God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ our Lord when we first believed. However, do you know that eternal life is not a thing, or an object that God give to me outside of me and outside of God. You may ask what do you means by that. This is indeed a great question. 
首先，你應該知道，當我們開始信主時，天父通過祂的兒子、我們的主耶穌基督，賜給每個基督徒、都得到永生。然而，你知道、永生不是一件事，也不是上帝給我的、沒有上帝的身外物。你可能會問、這是什麼意思。這確實是一個很大的問題。

Let us see what the Bible says.
John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
讓我們看看、聖經所說的話。
約翰福音3:16
神愛世人
16 「神愛世人，甚至將他的獨生子賜給他們，叫一切信他的不致滅亡，反得永生。

Do you know what this verse so plainly says?  God gave His Son to each believer so that every Christian has eternal life. Do you know why? Because eternal life is in His Son. Eternal life is not a thing outside of you like an object that can be passed from hands to hands. It is in God’s Son. That is why the following scriptures are so precious:
John 1:4 In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
1 John 5:12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

你知道這節經文、清楚所說的嗎？上帝將祂的獨生子賜給每個信徒，讓每個基督徒都有永生。你知道為什麼嗎？因為永生在祂的兒子裡頭。永恆的生命，並不是你的身外物，像一個可以從一個手、傳遞到另一個手的物體。永生是在神的兒子裡。這就是為什麼、以下經文如此珍貴：

約翰福音1：4
4 生命在他裡頭，這生命就是人的光。

約翰一書5:12
12 人有了神的兒子，就有生命；沒有神的兒子，就沒有生命。

Since eternal life is in Jesus Christ, we possess eternal life by being inside Christ. That is why our Lord Jesus Christ taught us so vividly in the the following lesson in John 15:1-8.
The Vine and the Branches:
15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
因為永生是在耶穌基督裡面，我們通過、在基督裡面，而擁有永生。這就是為什麼我們的主耶穌基督在下一節，約翰福音15：1-8中，如此生動的教導我們。

主是真葡萄樹
15 「我是真葡萄樹，我父是栽培的人。 2 凡屬我不結果子的枝子，他就剪去；凡結果子的，他就修理乾淨，使枝子結果子更多。 3 現在你們因我講給你們的道，已經乾淨了。 4 你們要常在我裡面，我也常在你們裡面。枝子若不常在葡萄樹上，自己就不能結果子；你們若不常在我裡面，也是這樣。 5 我是葡萄樹，你們是枝子。常在我裡面的，我也常在他裡面，這人就多結果子；因為離了我，你們就不能做什麼。 6 人若不常在我裡面，就像枝子丟在外面枯乾，人拾起來扔在火裡燒了。 7 你們若常在我裡面，我的話也常在你們裡面，凡你們所願意的，祈求，就給你們成就。 8 你們多結果子，我父就因此得榮耀，你們也就是我的門徒了。

So eternal life is not an object you can receive outside of yourself, eternal life is in the person Jesus Christ. We can even say Jesus Christ is eternal life. Thus, we need to be in Him. Next obvious question is how can any believer be in Christ.
所以永生不是、從你的外面、可以接受的一個物品，永生是耶穌基督裡面。我們甚至可以說，耶穌基督就是永生。因此，我們需要在祂裡面。下一個明顯的問題是，任何信徒如何在基督裡面。

Let us listen to our Lord who loves us, each of His, to the end.
讓我們聽聽愛我們的主，祂愛每個人每個信祂的人，直到最後都愛我們。

John 15:9-10:
9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.

9 「我愛你們，正如父愛我一樣，你們要常在我的愛裡。 10 你們若遵守我的命令，就常在我的愛裡，正如我遵守了我父的命令，常在他的愛裡。

May we truly love Him and obey His commandments and love each other for His glory!
為祂的榮耀！願我們真正愛祂，順服祂的誡命，彼此相愛!

As a Christian, do you know that your Heavenly Father has a plan just for you. You may ask what do you means by that? Many Christians do not recognize how precious each of them to God. In other word, they do not fully appreciate the immensity of God’s love towards each of His child.
作為基督徒，你知道你的天父有、一個只為你所作的計劃嗎？你可能會問，這是什麼意思？許多基督徒，不知道神是如何珍惜他們。換句話說，他們並沒有充分的體會感恩到、上帝給祂每一個孩子、浩瀚的愛。
As Christians, we all know the following:
    A. When we truly receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, God adopt us into His family as His children
     John 1:10-13 - -10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
    B. To be God’s children means that we are blessed with eternal lives and will be blessed with eternal fellowship with eternal God.      
    John 3:16- -16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
作為基督徒，我們都知道下列所述：
     A. 當我們真正接受耶穌基督、作為我們的主和救主時，上帝就接納我們進入祂的家庭、成為神的兒女。
         約翰福音1：10-13- -10 他在世界，世界也是藉著他造的，世界卻不認識他。 11 他到自己的地方來，自己的人倒不接待他。 12 凡接待他的，就是信他名的人，他就賜他們權柄做神的兒女。 13 這等人不是從血氣生的，不是從情慾生的，也不是從人意生的，乃是從神生的。    

    
     B. 作為神的兒女，意味著我們有永生的祝福，並將永遠與永恆的神相交通融合。
         約翰福音3:16 神愛世人- -16 「神愛世人，甚至將他的獨生子賜給他們，叫一切信他的不致滅亡，反得永生。

    C. My salvation was secured by my Lord Jesus Christ through His death at the cross to redeem me from the penalty of my sin. Similarly, your salvation was secured by the precious blood of God’s only begotten Son at the cross. This is all because of our Heavenly father’s love to each of us and also due to our Lord’s everlasting love to each of us.
    1 John 4:7-10- -7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
          John 13:1- -13 It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

      C. 主耶穌基督，在十字架上代替我死，救贖了我，讓我免受、所犯罪惡的懲罰。同樣的，你的救贖，也因上帝唯一的兒子、在十字架上所流的寶血，而得以穩固。這都是因為我們天父、對我們每個人的愛，也是因為主耶穌基督、對我們每個人永恆的愛。
          約翰一書4：7-10     神就是愛- -7 親愛的弟兄啊，我們應當彼此相愛，因為愛是從神來的。凡有愛心的，都是由神而生，並且認識神。 8 沒有愛心的，就不認識神，因為神就是愛。 9 神差他獨生子到世間來，使我們藉著他得生，神愛我們的心在此就顯明了。 10 不是我們愛神，乃是神愛我們，差他的兒子為我們的罪做了挽回祭，這就是愛了
          約翰福音13：1   耶穌愛我們到底- -13 逾越節以前，耶穌知道自己離世歸父的時候到了。他既然愛世間屬自己的人，就愛他們到底。

But as Christians, do you know that God has a plan for each of us?

    A. God chose each Christian in Christ in eternal past before the creation of this world as a gift to His beloved Son our Lord Jesus Christ.
    John 17:6-9- -6 “I have revealed you[a] to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. 7 Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. 8 For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. 9 I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.
      B. Our Lord Jesus Christ chose each of us 
    John 15:16- -16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

但作為基督徒，你知道上帝、給我們每個人的計劃嗎？
     A. 在創造這世界之前，神揀選了每一位基督徒，作為給祂所愛的兒子、我們主耶穌基督的禮物。
         約翰福音17：6-9- -6 你從世上賜給我的人，我已將你的名顯明於他們。他們本是你的，你將他們賜給我，他們也遵守了你的道。 7 如今他們知道，凡你所賜給我的，都是從你那裡來的。 8 因為你所賜給我的道，我已經賜給他們；他們也領受了，又確實知道我是從你出來的，並且信你差了我來。 9 我為他們祈求；不為世人祈求，卻為你所賜給我的人祈求，因他們本是你的。            
     B. 我們的主耶穌基督、揀選了我們每一個人
        約翰福音15:16- -16 不是你們揀選了我，是我揀選了你們，並且分派你們去結果子，叫你們的果子常存，使你們奉我的名無論向父求什麼，他就賜給你們。

     C. Do you know that it is our Lord that sent us into this world to do His ministry. In other words, our existence in this world is not a random event like the evolution theory trying to deceive us. Our coming to this world is part of God’s eternal plan formulated by God and carry out by God.

    John 17:18-20- -18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified. 20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,

     D. Each of us in this world is part of God workmanship to make His love complete in us.
    Ephesians 2:10- -10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.    
    1 John 4:12- -12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

     C. 你知道，是我們的主、差遣我們進入這個世界，來做祂的事工嗎？換句話說，我們能存在這個世界，不是隨機、偶然的事件，不是如進化論、試圖欺騙我們所說的那樣。我們來到這個世界、是上帝永恆的計劃的一部分，是上帝所製定的，由上帝所執行的。
         約翰福音17：18-20   信主者合而為一- -18 你怎樣差我到世上，我也照樣差他們到世上。 19 我為他們的緣故，自己分別為聖，叫他們也因真理成聖。20 「我不但為這些人祈求，也為那些因他們的話信我的人祈求，
     D. 我們每個人在這個世界上，都是上帝的一部分，將祂的愛在我們裡面得以完全了
        以弗所書2:10- -10 我們原是他的工作，在基督耶穌裡造成的，為要叫我們行善，就是神所預備叫我們行的。
        約翰一書4:12- -12 從來沒有人見過神，我們若彼此相愛，神就住在我們裡面，愛他的心在我們裡面得以完全了。

     E. Do you know how bless you are to be able to live in eternal God? What a priceless privilege indeed.
    1 John 4:13-16- -13 This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them
    1 Corinthians 1:30-31- -30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”

    E. 你知道，你能活在永恆的神裡面，是多麼大的祝福嗎？真是一個無價的特權！
         約翰一書4：13-16- -13 神將他的靈賜給我們，從此就知道我們是住在他裡面，他也住在我們裡面。 14 父差子做世人的救主，這是我們所看見且作見證的。 15 凡認耶穌為神兒子的，神就住在他裡面，他也住在神裡面。 16 神愛我們的心，我們也知道也信。神就是愛，住在愛裡面的，就是住在神裡面，神也住在他裡面。上帝是愛，活在愛裡的任何人，就是活在神裡，神在他們裡面。
        哥林多前書1：30-31- -30 但你們得在基督耶穌裡，是本乎神，神又使他成為我們的智慧、公義、聖潔、救贖。 31 如經上所記：「誇口的，當指著主誇口。」

     F. When we are done here in this world, God will call us home to enjoy God and His glory.      
    1 Corinthians 2:9-13
9 However, as it is written “What no eye has seen; what no ear has heard; and what no human mind has conceived”- -the things God has prepared for those who love him- -10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them?     John 17:21-26- -21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. 24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. 25 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.

    John 17:1-3- -17 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:
“Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. 2 For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

Please listen to our Lord’s compassion onto all of us.

    John 16:33- -33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

請聆聽我們主、對我們所有人的憐憫。
        約翰福音16:33- -33 我將這些事告訴你們，是要叫你們在我裡面有平安。在世上你們有苦難，但你們可以放心，我已經勝了世界。」

Indeed, our salvation is the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ at the cross. He is our Wisdom, our Righteousness, our Sanctification, our Salvation and He is our precious Lord. May all of us and each of us praise Him unceasingly from now till eternity and from here on this earth to our home there in heaven. In Jesus Christ Precious Name, we pray. Amen ！

There is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.(See 1 Coringthians 8:6)

主耶穌榮耀無比的十字架

Obedience to God is much better than offering sacrifices - Hos 6:6
