In a world full of chaos and temptations, a few of us Christians are sometimes wondering away from our faith in Jesus Christ and wasting much of our resources in chasing the fads of this world. For example, we may endeavor in spending all of our time or most of our effort in pursuing this world. Some of us are so overwhelming with the worries of this world and others are so busy in solving our things in this world that we sometimes forget who we are and the purpose of our lives here on this earth.
身處在一個充滿混亂和誘惑的世界裡，我們基督徒中少數的人，有時會迷失、偏離我們信仰耶穌基督的正道，而浪費不少資源，去追逐這個世界的潮流。例如，我們可能會花費我們所有的時間及大部分的精力在跟隨這個世界的潮流。我們中有些人是被這個世界的煩惱憂慮所困惑、而挫敗，而其他人是忙於解決、我們在這個世界上的事情。我們有時會忘記我們是誰，我們生活的這個地球上的目的是什麼。
 

Current astronomy in last decade has opened a way to looking for planets in other stars. It turns out that majority of planets orbiting a star are hellish planets which have very high surface temperatures and stormy atmospheres because their orbits to their star are too close and the speeds are fast. In other word, the situations for the earth-like planet are rare and not easy to find. This beautiful and habitable earth for us to live on is indeed a great blessing from God. Actually, to be a Christian is even more an overwhelming grace to us from our Lord Jesus Christ.
現代的天文學，在過去的十年中，已發展出方法，來尋找其他星球的行星。原來大多數星球的行星是如同地獄般的惡劣環境，是具有非常高的表面溫度和暴風般、不穩定的大氣層。因為這些行星是快速地環繞星球，其環繞星球的軌道，與他們的太陽星球相距太近。換句話說，像地球這行星的情況是罕見的，不容易被發現。讓我們能生活在這個美麗又適合居住的地球，確實是上帝所賜給的大恩典。事實上，能成為一名基督徒、確實是我們主耶穌給我們的一個巨大的恩賜！

Let look at a few scriptural passages concerning Christians.
讓我們看一下有關基督徒的一些聖經經文。

A.  As  Christians, we were purchased from the evil  and sinful world with a great great price. So we belong to Jesus Christ our Lord. Please meditate the following:

 1 Peter, 1:17-19
17 If you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth; 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, 19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.

A. 作為基督徒，我們是用巨大的代價，才從邪惡和罪惡的世界被贖回的。所以，我們是屬於我們的主耶穌基督。請默想以下經節：   

     彼得前書1：17-19
17 你們既稱那不偏待人、按各人行為審判人的主為父，就當存敬畏的心度你們在世寄居的日子， 18 知道你們得贖，脫去你們祖宗所傳流虛妄的行為，不是憑著能壞的金銀等物， 19 乃是憑著基督的寶血，如同無瑕疵、無玷汙的羔羊之血。

B. We were chosen before the foundation of the world and sent into this world by our Lord.
    Ephesians 1:4
4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
    John 15:16
16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

B.我們是上帝在創立世界以前，在基督裡揀選了我們，並由我們的主差遣到這個世界。
以弗所書1：4
4 就如神從創立世界以前在基督裡揀選了我們，使我們在他面前成為聖潔，無有瑕疵；

約翰福音15:16
16 不是你們揀選了我，是我揀選了你們，並且分派你們去結果子，叫你們的果子常存，使你們奉我的名無論向父求什麼，他就賜給你們。

C. Why we are called? We are called to be separated from the world  for God. We are called to be sanctified in Christ—to be saints.
    1 Cor 1:2
2 To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

C.為什麼我們被呼召？我們是被神呼召，從世界分別為聖為神所用。就是在基督耶穌裡成聖、蒙召做聖徒的。
哥林多前書1：2
2 寫信給在哥林多神的教會，就是在基督耶穌裡成聖、蒙召做聖徒的，以及所有在各處求告我主耶穌基督之名的人。基督是他們的主，也是我們的主。

D. We are equipped by God for various gifts and services. such as spreading gospel and mutually growing with our brothers and sisters.
    Ephesians 4: 7 & 4: 11-13
7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 
11 And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.

D.我們具有上帝各種恩賜和任務。如傳播福音，並與我們的兄弟姐妹共同成長。
以弗所書4：7 & 4: 11-13
7 我們各人蒙恩，都是照基督所量給各人的恩賜。
11 他所賜的有使徒，有先知，有傳福音的，有牧師和教師， 12 為要成全聖徒，各盡其職，建立基督的身體， 13 直等到我們眾人在真道上同歸於一，認識神的兒子，得以長大成人，滿有基督長成的身量，

So what a Christian should do?
(1) We should  form a habit to read the Bible daily. This will cleanse us from  corruptions and will edify us to know our Lord Jesus Christ more and more each day.

(2) We should form a habit of praying frequently. Pray not only for our needs and but also for  others’ needs as well.
    Philip 4:6-7
    6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving   let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

(3) We should pursue holiness and bring people to the Lord to bear fruit. See Ephesians 1:4 and John 15:16

(4) To have a intimate relationship with God the Father, our Lord Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit.
    Romans 8:5-10
    5 For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, 7 because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, 8 and those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. 10 If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
    John 17:3 
    This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

(5) Do every good work
    2 Tim 3:16-17
    16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

(6) Compassionately love our brothers and sisters in the faith. This means love those who our Lord loves.  Be helping and generous in material helping as well. Try our best to be unified in one faith, one Lord, and one baptism. This means not opinionated, not arrogant and controlling, but meek, self denial, and patiently carrying our cross daily to follow our Lord as He commended. Bring people to church monthly. And bring people to faith yearly to bear fruit to glory our God.

      1 John 3:17
      17 But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him?​

       Ephesians 4:1-6

       Unity of the Spirit
       4 Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, 3 being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

(7) Most importantly, worship God in spirit and in truth. Always be grateful to our God and offer frequently our thanks throughout each day. furthermore, we should present our bodies living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God.
    John 4:23
    23 But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.
    Hebrew 13:15
    15 Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.
    Romans 12:1
    12 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

Summary:
The Bible encourages us to have faith and trust God. The above is a few samples that we can do  in Christ by the power of God. The important thing to remember is that we are Christians belonging to our Lord and we have a renewed heart to love our Lord and enjoy Him.

因此，一個基督徒應該做什麼呢？
(1) 我們要養成每天閱讀聖經的習慣。這樣，將我們從敗壞中洗淨，將陶冶我們、每一天越來越多、知道我們主耶穌基督。
(2) 我們應該有經常祈禱的習慣。不僅為我們的需求，同時也為別人的需要祈禱。
    腓立比書 4：6-7
6 應當一無掛慮，只要凡事藉著禱告、祈求和感謝，將你們所要的告訴神。 7 神所賜出人意外的平安，必在基督耶穌裡保守你們的心懷意念。.
(3) 我們應該追求聖潔並要傳播福音結果子。請見上述，以弗書1：4和約翰福音15:16。
(4) 要與聖父，我們的主耶穌基督和聖靈有一個親密的關係。
    羅馬書8：5-10
    5 因為隨從肉體的人，體貼肉體的事；隨從聖靈的人，體貼聖靈的事。 6 體貼肉體的就是死，體貼聖靈的乃是生命、平安。 7 原來體貼肉體的就是與神為仇，因為不服神的律法，也是不能服； 8 而且屬肉體的人不能得神的喜歡。 9 如果神的靈住在你們心裡，你們就不屬肉體，乃屬聖靈了。人若沒有基督的靈，就不是屬基督的。 10 基督若在你們心裡，身體就因罪而死，心靈卻因義而活。
     約翰福音17：3
    3 認識你獨一的真神，並且認識你所差來的耶穌基督，這就是永生。
(5) 做各樣的善事
     提摩太後書3：16-17
     16 聖經都是神所默示的，於教訓、督責、使人歸正、教導人學義都是有益的， 17 叫屬神的人得以完全，預備行各樣的善事。

(6) 愛護主內弟兄姊妹，就是耍愛主耶穌所愛的，並要慷慨在物貭上樂意幫助困苦中的弟兄姊妹。努力使教会在主內合一:一信一主一洗。不可結黨分爭、己意橫行、驕傲凌人、控制教會。務要謙卑溫和，且捨己服事，每天捨己背起十字架跟隨主，敬虔度在世寄居的日子，榮神益人，作神百般思賜的好管家，每月帶人來教會，每年多帶人信主，使榮耀歸主。

      約翰一書 3:17

      17 凡有世上財物的，看見弟兄窮乏，卻塞住憐恤的心，愛神的心怎能存在他裡面呢？
       以弗所書 4:1-6

       勸門徒合而為一
4 我為主被囚的勸你們：既然蒙召，行事為人就當與蒙召的恩相稱， 2 凡事謙虛、溫柔、忍耐，用愛心互相寬容， 3 用和平彼此聯絡，竭力保守聖靈所賜合而為一的心。 4 身體只有一個，聖靈只有一個，正如你們蒙召同有一個指望； 5 一主，一信，一洗， 6 一神，就是眾人的父，超乎眾人之上，貫乎眾人之中，也住在眾人之內。

(7) 最重要是用心靈和誠實來敬拜上帝。總要對上帝有感恩的心，每天常常以感謝讚美主。更應該把身体献為活祭，這是神所喜悅的。
    約 翰 福 音 4:23
23 時候將到，如今就是了， 那真正拜父的，要用心靈和誠實拜他，因為父要這樣的人拜他 。
    希 伯 來 書 13:15
15 我們應當靠著耶穌，常常以頌讚為祭獻給神 ，這就是那承認主名之人嘴唇的果子 。
     羅 馬 書 12:1 
12 所以弟兄們，我以神的慈悲勸你們，將身體獻上，當作活祭，是聖潔的，是神所喜悅的；你們如此事奉乃是理所當然的 。

結論：
聖經鼓勵我們有信心，依靠上帝。以上所提幾樣事，我們可以在基督裡通過上帝的力量做。要記住的重要事情是，我們基督徒是屬於上帝的，我們已有個更新的心來愛我們的主，與主同歡。

For Older Persons: Titus 2:2-3

Older men are to be temperate, dignified, sensible, sound in faith, in love, in perseverance.

3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, 4 so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.

Suggested applications

Try to eat sensibly and maintain your health sensibly

Enrich a great relationship with your grand children

Teach them Bible stories if you can

Enjoy your golden years with your loved ones

Seek your comfort from Jesus Christ your Lord always

Do love your Lord every remaining day on this Earth

For Young Persons: Titus 2:6-8

Likewise urge the young men to be sensible; 7 in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine dignified, 8 sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us.

Suggested Applications

Try to overcome sin or it will overcome you.

Try to kill your flesh, lust, perversions or they will kill you for sure.

Try to get light from the Bible or you will be misled by the darkness of this world

Watch who you hung out with.

Avoid the blackholes in life such as drug, alcohol, smoking, sex, video games, gambling, terrorist ideology.

For Wives: Ephesians 5:22-24

22 Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. 24 But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything. 

Suggested applications

Maintain sexual purity in a lust world

Keep home in a neat and worm environment

Watch children's nutrition

Tell bible stories to your children at the bedtime 

How about love your hubby for a change

Do not take everything good from your husband for granted

For Husbands: Ephesians 5:25-30 

25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, 26 so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. 28 So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself; 29 for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church, 30 because we are members of His body.

For Children: Ephesians 6:1-2

 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise), 3 so that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth.

Suggested applications for teenagers and college goers

Watch out drugs and alcohol in your parties and come home early per your 

parents' rules. Drug does fry your brain physically. Avoid it like you avoid poison and AIDS.

Maintain sexual purity in a lust pervert and peer pressure environment. Ask yourself why trash your body in sexual impurity activities

Pay attention and spend your time on your education

Select your close friends and association CAREFULLY. Do not make once in your lifetime. Donot be headstrong. Listen to your parents advice and naggings.

Steer yourself away from video games and pornography. Attend a Christian fellowship group to be shielded from all the ideological isms, mysticism, and extremism. 

You only have one life to live: be moderate and keep everything in its proper values including your school grades. Do not be trapped by anything including school grades, drug, alcohol, video games, sex, and gang activities. Make sure that you take it as a top priority to finish your education on time and find a job as soon as possible.

You only have one life to live: Get guidance from your Creator: read the Bible, learn to pray often during the mess of the day,and meditate often on  things above rather than spending all your attention on material things on the earth.

Read Romans Chapter 1

For Parents: Ephesians 6:4

4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Suggested Applications

Protect your marriage like your life dependent on it by proper investing  your time, activities, gifts, and attention to enrich it.

Watch your children nutrition, their education,  their friends, and association. Do you know where your children are!

Know what they spend most of their time: video game? drinking? smoking?

or school education?

Pray for your children, your jobs, your health, your merriage, and everything puzzling you in your life.

老年人 -

提 多 書 2:2-4  

勸老年人要有節制 、端莊 、自守 ，在信心 、愛心 、忍耐上都要純全無疵。

3 又勸老年婦人，舉止行動要恭敬，不說讒言，不給酒作奴僕，用善道教訓人，

4 好指教少年婦人，愛丈夫，愛兒女，

5 謹守，貞潔，料理家務，待人有恩，順服自己的丈夫，免得神的道理被毀謗。

推薦如何應用:
適當的飲食，維護好您的健康。
與孫子們建立良好、豐富的關係。
可以教導他們，跟他們分享聖經故事。
與你所愛的人，一起享受你的黃金歲月。
尋求主耶穌基督、你永遠的主，給你的安慰。
在仍活在這地球的每一天，愛你的主 。

少年人

提 多 書 2:6-8

6 又勸少年人要謹守。

7 你自己凡事要顯出善行的榜樣；在教訓上要正直、端莊，

8 言語純全，無可指責，叫那反對的人，既無處可說我們的不是，便自覺羞愧。

建議如何應用：
努力克服罪惡，否則它會戰勝你。
努力、滅除你的肉體的情慾、眼目的情慾並今生的驕傲；否則他們肯定會讓你滅亡。
嘗試從聖經中得到的光，否則你會被這個世界的黑暗所誤導。
選擇你的玩伴，近朱者赤，近墨者黑。
避免生活中的牢窟，如吸毒、酗酒、吸煙、色情、網路遊戲、賭博、和恐怖的意識形態。

作 妻 子

以 弗 所 書 5:22-24

22 你們作妻子的，當順服自己的丈夫，如同順服主。

23 因為丈夫是妻子的頭，如同基督是教會的頭；他又是教會全體的救主。

24 教會怎樣順服基督，妻子也要怎樣凡事順服丈夫。

推薦如何應用：
情慾世界中，保持純潔的性關係。
保持家中整潔，溫暖的環境。
注意孩子的營養。
在小孩睡前，給他讀聖經故事。
改變一下，試著去接受、喜歡、參與你老公的嗜好。
不要認為獲得丈夫的一切好處，都是理所當然的。

作 丈 夫

以 弗 所 書 5:25-30 

25 你們作丈夫的，要愛你們的妻子，正如基督愛教會，為教會捨己。

26 要用水藉著道把教會洗淨，成為聖潔，

27 可以獻給自己，作個榮耀的教會，毫無玷污、皺紋等類的病，乃是聖潔沒有瑕疵的。

28 丈夫也當照樣愛妻子，如同愛自己的身子；愛妻子便是愛自己了。

29 從來沒有人恨惡自己的身子，總是保養顧惜，正像基督待教會一樣，

30 因我們是他身上的肢體（有古卷在此有：就是他的骨他的肉）。

推薦如何應用:
情慾世界中，保持純潔的性關係。
回家，與你的妻子和孩子一起吃晚餐。
監督孩子的功課，去參加老師與家長的會議。
每天擁抱你的孩子。
與你的妻子和孩子，一起計劃週末的活動。
改變一下，試著去接受、喜歡、參與你夫人的嗜好。
不要認為獲得妻子的一切好處，都是理所當然的。

作 兒 女

以 弗 所 書 6:1-4 

6 你們作兒女的，要在主裡聽從父母，這是理所當然的。

2 要孝敬父母，使你得福，在世長壽。這是第一條帶應許的誡命。

對青少年和即將成為大學生的建議:
小心派對裡的毒品和酒類，按您的父母的規則早點回家。藥品會實實在在的、毒毀你的大腦。避開藥品，如同你避免毒物和愛滋病。

在一個情慾導向、有同儕壓力的環境中，保持純潔的性關係。問問自己，為什麼要在不乾淨的性活動中，作賤你的身體。

花你的時間、專注於你的課業上。

要小心選擇你親近的朋友和宿舍室友。不要在你的一生中，存有做一次、沒關係的僥倖心態。

不要任性。聽你父母的意見和重覆的耳提面命。

讓自己脫離、網路視頻遊戲和色情。參加團契小組，屏除所有的思想主義、神秘主義和極端主義。

你只有一次生命來活：要謹慎、謙虛；並讓所有的事物，保留其正確的價值，包括你的學業成績。不要被任何東西所困；包括學業成績、吸毒、酗酒、視頻遊戲、性愛、和幫派活動。

確保你把按時完成你的學業，當作第一等的大事、來完成它；並在畢業後，儘快找到一份工作。

你只能活一次；從你的創造者獲取指導：閱讀聖經，學習在面臨混亂時，經常祈禱；仔細思考、求在上面的事，而不是花費你所有的注意力在地球上的物質東西。請讀羅馬書1章。

作 父 親

以 弗 所 書 6:-2 

4 你們作父親的，不要惹兒女的氣，只要照著主的教訓和警戒養育他

建議如何應用：
保護你的婚姻，就像你的生命依賴於它。要適時地、注入你的時間，活動，禮物，和心意來充實它。
注意你的孩子的營養，他們的教育，他們來往的朋友和關聯。你知道、你孩子的所在！
知道他們花費大量的時間在作甚麼:視頻遊戲？喝什麼？吸煙？還是學校的教育?
為你的孩子，你的工作，你的健康，你的婚姻，和生活中的各種迷惑祈禱！

Many people are very concerned with the direction that the  world is going today. It seems to many people that the moral fabrics of the  world are deteriorating very rapidly. Indeed, there is no peace today and there  are numerous regional conflicts and local violent events reported each day in
the media. In addition, many calamities, whether man-made or due to natural
phenomena, happened quite frequent lately; fires, storms, earthquakes,
floods, and mud slides are hurting many communities. Furthermore, there are many
terrorist events such as recent shooting in a shopping mall in Africa and bombings
in the Middle East.

You may wonder what to do when the whole world seems going very  chaotic and crazy daily.

On the individual level, global economics still face many  challenges in creating jobs. It appears that the family system is being  marginalized and morality is on the way out in today environment all over the world.

We may ask ourselves what to do when our leaders fail to  lead and fail to be watchful; or even worst, when we are down and out. What are  we supposed to do?

Here are a few reminders:

1. For those who are still seeking the Truth and  are still wandering outside the Kingdom of God:

• You need to turn around and come home to your loving  heavenly Father. Read the story of the prodigal son recorded in Luke 15:11-32 .God is still loving you and patiently waiting for your repentance and return to Him for “For God so loved the world, that He gave  His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have  eternal life.” (John 3:16)
• Liberalism and rationalism have not led human beings out of conflicts and chaos. Rather, they have rejected God and contributed to the lawlessness and current decays of the moral fabrics of the human civilizations. Just remember that rationalism cannot create even a single sand particle, but have developed many creation models and theories to add to the chaos of the world.

“Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise. For the
wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, “He is the
one who catches the wise in their craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are useless.”( 1 Corinthians 3:18-20)

• Time is of essence because tomorrow may not belong to you. Do it now while the door which leads to Jesus Christ our only Savior, is still open to you. Go to see a pastor or contact us right away for your salvation.

2. For those who are believers and wander away and are down and out:

• Return right away to your Shepherd Jesus Christ, your Lord and Savior, who died for you to save you. The Bible tells us that we all like sheep going our ways. We tend to wander off to our ways frequently and desperately need to come back to our Shepherd Jesus Christ who will lead us to safety of His Kingdom to worship Him and to adore His great love for us. Please ponder on the great benefits of being His sheep as recorded in Ps 23. From time to time, we need to be reminded of this Psalm.

The Lord, the Psalmist’s Shepherd.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures;

He leads me beside quiet waters.

He restores my soul; He guides me
in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I fear no evil, for You are with me;

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;

You have anointed my head with oil;My cup overflows.

Surely goodness and loving kindness will follow me all the days of my life,

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

• Faith cannot be earned. Our salvation is all due to God’s grace and mercies towards us. If we are truly belonging to Him, then we will come home to Jesus Christ our Lord for

1 Corinthians 1:30 tells us: “ But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption".

 We should always remember the following verses concerning our faith:

1 Corinthians 2:4-5

and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.

So let us fix our eyes on our Lord Jesus Christ, the finisher of our Faith, and stop seeking the ways of this world.

• A warning! If you love the world, the love of the Father is not in you.

For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation
of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries.( Hebrews 10:26-27)

很多人都非常關注，今天這個世界的發展方向。許多人看來，世界的道德面非常迅速惡化。事實上，今天沒有和平，每天媒體報導許多地區衝突和局部暴力事件。此外，許多災難，不論是人為或自然現象，近來相當頻繁發生了；火災，風暴，地震，洪水，泥石流傷害許多社區。還有很多恐怖事件，如在非洲商場的濫殺及中東的爆炸案 。

每天整個世界似乎非常混亂與瘋狂時，你可能想知道該如何做。在個人層面上，全球經濟仍然面臨著許多挑戰來創造就業機會時，家庭制度似乎被邊緣化;同時道德在現今全世界的環境中已漸被遺忘了。

當我們的領導人無法領導及照顧我們時，我們可能會問自己該怎麼做。甚至更壞的情況下，我們自己因墮落且無法自救時，我們應該怎麼辦？

這裡有一些提示：

1.  對於那些仍在尋求真理，而且還仍在上帝的國度外徘徊的人：

• 您需要調頭回家，到你慈愛的天父的面前。在路加福音15:11-32記錄著浪子回頭的故事。神仍然愛你，且耐心等待你的悔改，回到祂身邊。因為“神愛世人，甚至將他的獨生子賜給他們，叫一切信他的不致滅亡，反得永生。“（約翰福音3:16）
• 自由主義和理性主義並沒有讓人類遠離衝突和混亂。相反，因為他們抗絕了上帝，導致無法無天與目前人類文明的道德層面的敗壞。只要記住，理性主義甚至單一的沙粒都不能創造，卻發明了許多的創造論模型和理論，增加了世界的混亂。上帝這樣的提醒世人:

“人不可自欺。你們中間若有人在這世界自以為有智慧，倒不如變做愚拙，好成為有智慧的。因這世界的智慧在神看是愚拙。如經上記著說:“主叫有智慧的中了自己的詭計”;又說:“主知道智慧人的意念是虛妄的。”（哥林多前書3:18-20）

• 及時醒誤是非常重要的，因為明天可能不屬於你。當通向主耶穌基督，我們唯一救主的門，仍然向你敞開時。現在就是得救的時候，你要趕緊去尋找一個牧師，或馬上聯繫我們。

2.對於那些曾是信徒而卻走失，墮落且離開的人:

• 立即返回你的大牧者，你的主耶穌基督。祂犧牲自己來救贖你的。 “聖經”告訴我們，我們都如羊般走迷了路。我們常常偏行己路，我們的確迫切需要回歸我們的牧人耶穌基督，祂將帶領我們到祂的安全國度，來崇拜他，讚美祂給我們偉大的愛。請思考詩篇23記載著作為祂的羊的巨大利益。我們需要常常想到這首詩篇。

                               耶和華是我的牧者, 我必不致缺乏。

                              他使我躺臥在青草地上，領我在可安歇的水邊。

                             他使我的靈魂甦醒，為自己的名引導我走義路。

                                    我雖然行過死蔭的幽谷，也不怕遭害，

                     因為你與我同在，你的杖、你的竿都安慰我。

                           在我敵人面前，你為我擺設筵席，

                     你用油膏了我的頭，使我的福杯滿溢。

                                     我一生一世必有恩惠、慈愛隨著我，

                     我且要住在耶和華的殿中，直到永遠。

• 信仰是不能賺來的。我們的救恩是全然由於上帝對我們的恩典和憐憫。如果我們是真正屬於祂的，那麼我們一定會回家，回到我們的主耶穌基督;因為,聖經如此教導我們. 哥林多前書1:30告訴我們：

“但你們得在基督耶穌裡，是本乎神，神又使他成為我們的智慧、公義、聖潔、救贖。”

關於我們的信仰，我們應該永遠記住下面的經節：

哥林多前書2:4-5

           ^“ 我說的話、講的道，不是用智慧委婉的言語，乃是用聖靈和大能的明證， 叫你們的信

         不在乎人的智慧，只在乎神的大能。”

因此，讓我們依靠我們的主耶穌基督，我們信仰的創始成終者，停止尋找這個世界的其他方法。

• 一個警告！如果你喜愛這個世界，慈父的愛是不會駐在你裡面。

                   因為我們得知真道以後，若故意犯罪，贖罪的祭就再沒有了， 唯有戰懼等候審判

                   和那燒滅眾敵人的烈火. (希伯來書10:26-27)

This is a companion article following the one entitled “The end of your human ways is for you to see the beginning of the Lord’s great mercies towards you”. When everything seems to go completely hay-wire, we need to be watchful and be reminded of the following:

1. We need to conduct ourselves with wisdom towards outsiders. This is an evil world. That means there are many wicked people who are eagerly to lie and cheat on the believers.

Colossians 4:5-6

Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. 6 Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.

2. Be holy because “but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”( 1 Peter 1:15-16). This means that we should get out of evil businesses and move away from evil places and deliberately not associate with wicked peoples or organizations. Please see the verses in Ps 1;

Psalm 1:1-2

How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,

Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!

 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,And in His law he meditates day and night.

3. Watchful where we spend our time and energy.
Please ponder on the following verses:

Ephesians 5:15-18

Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,

This means that we do not spend time in chasing the fashions of this world such as boasting in sport events, seeking fleshly endeavors including illicit sex and pornography etc., and wasting our energy in the idle habits such as drinking parties, gambling, and electronic games, etc.  

4. Establish good habits such as to be an early riser to pray and ponder on God’s laws and His kingdom, and our holy calling to follow Jesus Christ our Lord. Good habits are like a great precious pearl; hard to find and easy to lose it. Good habits such as organizing our daily life and good house-keeping, and know where we place things important to us so that we do not spend time to find things.

5. Always view the situations happening to us with a thanksgiving attitude towards our God and always with a fearful and respectful heart in conducting ourselves in front of our Lord. We need to
remember our Lord’s teaching that flesh is not profitable and also Saint Paul’s reminder that the body bends towards death.

6. Take one day at a time particularly when we are under stressful situations. Always trusting our Lord because He loves us and is almighty indeed. Do plan our daily activities the evening before and ask the Lord's guidance and help in our prayers. Make a habit of not deviating from our planned activities for the day. Review our activities at the end of the day and thank our Lord for keeping us in the right path or confess our transgressions and failures and ask for His forgiveness and help to strengthen us. Also, do a monthly plan to open our horizon about what we should accomplish for the month.

7. Keep our view toward heavenly. That is, pondering on all the great things prepared for us by our Lord in heaven and our focus on our Lord rather on ourselves on this earth.

8. Invest on building good family relationship and spend resources in fellowshipping with believers and do evangelizing people around us in and out of the season. Always put a very high value in building family relationship particularly spending time together with your spouse and children. Family is such an important safety net provided by our God that we need to spend our time and energy and attention to protect/maintain the relationships everyday. It is indeed a great blessing from our Lord that husband and wife can read the Bible together and share the spiritual enlightenment from our Teacher Holy Spirit about marriage and childbearing and mutual love and aspirations.

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4-7)

9. Keep our hope daily on our Lord’s return and our hope to be like Him. The purpose of our lives here on the earth is to grow up to His likeliness and to honor Him and glorify him with our body. This means to self denial and take our cross and follow Him daily and to live for His glory. Ponder on this following verse:

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.( Galatians 2:20)

10. We need to focus and depend fully on our Lord Jesus Christ. He loves us and is able to keep us in Him among all our trials and failures. Here are a few reminders:

"Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, “The righteous man shall live by faith.”( Galatians 3:11)

“fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy
set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the
right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2)

11. Always with a fearful and respectful heart towards our Lord. Keep in mind that the days of our Lord at the end time are of a very shocking judgment and disaster time period that the world will be judged for their wickedness with the calamities that are terrifying beyond our comprehension. Because of that fearful judgment day, we should spread the gospel with urgency and compassion to unbelievers for them to escape this deadly judgment of being in eternal tormenting hell forever. 

12. Taking a pilgrim's world view, we should enjoy our Lord’s leadings and blessings in our lives and trust Him completely as we live each of our days by faith in our journey towards our heavenly home. Learn to be generous towards our fellowman during this once in our lifetime journey towards our heavenly home. Generosity is a blessing from our Lord that flows from our Lord towards us and also through us to the people we meet in our daily activities. It takes awhile to learn to be generous both in substance and in attitude.

“ By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was
to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going.
By faith he lived as an alien in the land of promise, as in a foreign land,
dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs of the same promise;

for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.” ( Hebrews 11:8-10) 

In Summary, Apostle Paul reminded us the following  precious verses of how to live in the wicked world:









這是“人的盡頭是神的開頭”文章的姊妹篇。當一切似乎完全混亂時，我們必須要警惕以下的提醒：

1. 我們必須要用智慧與外人交往。這是一個邪惡的世界。這意味著有許多邪惡的人，熱切地用撒謊來欺騙信徒。聖經如此提醒我們:

歌羅西書 4:5-6

你們要愛惜光陰，用智慧與外人交往。 你們的言語要常常帶著和氣，好像用鹽調和，就可知道該怎樣回答各人。





2.  要聖潔， 因為「那召你們的既是聖潔，你們在一切所行的事上也要聖潔。 ¹⁶ 因為經上記著說：「你們要聖潔，因為我是聖潔的。」(彼得前書1:15-16）。這意味著，我們應該走出邪惡的事務，遠離邪惡的地方，刻意不與邪惡的人或組織有關聯。請參閱詩篇第一篇。

詩篇1:1-2

不從惡人的計謀，不站罪人的道路，不坐褻慢人的座位， 唯喜愛耶和華的律法，晝夜思想，這人便為有福！

3. 注意我們花費時間和精力的地方。請思考下面的詩句：

以弗所書 5:15-18

你們要謹慎行事，不要像愚昧人，當像智慧人。 要愛惜光陰，因為現今的世代邪惡。 不要做糊塗人，要明白主的旨意如何。 不要醉酒，酒能使人放蕩；乃要被聖靈充滿。

這意味著，不要花時間去追逐這個世界時尚；如吹噓體育賽事、追逐肉慾的極端，包括非法性行為和色情等，以及浪費能力在無聊的習慣如酒肉聚會、睹博、與電子遊戲等事。

4. 建立良好的生活習慣，如成為一個早起者，來祈禱、思考神的律法和他的王國、及跟隨我們的主耶穌基督的聖召。良好的習慣是如寶貴的珍珠，很難找到的，也容易失去它。好的習慣，如組織我們的日常生活和房子的整理保持；知道重要的東西放在哪裡，讓我們不花時間去尋找的東西。

5. 永遠以感恩上帝的態度，面對發生在我們身上的各種狀況。在上帝之前，我們處己做人、總是帶著敬畏的心。我們要記住我們主耶穌有關肉體是無益的教導；也要記得聖保羅提醒我們，体貼肉體就是死的警告

6.特別是當我們在有壓力的情況下，一天的重担一天當就夠了。始終相信依靠我們的主，因為祂愛我們、而且的確是萬能的。每晚先計劃隔天要作的事，把這些要作的事帶到禱告裡求主幫助引領。盡量不離行事計劃、每晚向主感謝祂一天的保守帶領，若失敗犯罪也要悔改求主赦免、並且加添能カ使我們走義路。每月底時、也把下月先計劃，幫助行事的效率。

7. 將我們的眼光放在天國。就是，思考我們的主、在天上為我們準備的、一切的福分。專注仰望我們的主、而非我們自己。

8. 用心建立良好的家庭關係，費心與信徒團契，並隨時傳福音給我們周圍的人。這意味著在所有情況下、都要做到這一點。家庭是神給人的一大安全網。能與配偶一起讀經討論、一起禱告事奉，是神的大祝福。與孩子一起的時间是非常珍貴的。我們應當花時間與孩子講聖經故事與遊戲。

你們要靠主常常喜樂，我再說，你們要喜樂！ 當叫眾人知道你們謙讓的心。主已經近了。 應當一無掛慮，只要凡事藉著禱告、祈求和感謝，將你們所要的告訴神。 神所賜出人意外的平安，必在基督耶穌裡保守你們的心懷意念。(腓4:4-7）

9. 每天活潑期待我們主的再來。我們的生活在這地球上的目的是，長成像祂的樣子，來尊敬他，用我們的身體來榮耀祂。也就是說每天要捨己背起我們的十字架跟隨祂，為他的榮耀而生活。思考下面的詩句：

我已經與基督同釘十字架，現在活著的不再是我，乃是基督在我裡面活著。並且我如今在肉身活著，是因信神的兒子而活，他是愛我，為我捨己。(加拉太書2:20）。

10. 我們要關注且依靠我們的主耶穌基督。祂愛我們，且關切我們所有的作為和失敗。下面是一些提醒：

沒有一個人靠著律法在神面前稱義，這是明顯的，因為經上說：「義人必因信得生。」(加拉太書3:11）

仰望為我們信心創始成終的耶穌。他因那擺在前面的喜樂，就輕看羞辱，忍受了十字架的苦難，便坐在神寶座的右邊。(希伯來書12:2）

11. 永遠以敬畏的心對待我們的主。請記住，我們的主提醒警告世人、世界末日是世人要經歷一非常震憾的災難， 世界將會因罪貫滿盈而被審判。因為那可怕的審判的日子，我們應該趕緊傳播福音給世人，信主逃離那可怕的災離。

12. 以一個朝聖者的世界觀，我們應該在我們的生活中、享受我們的主的引導和祝福，並完全信任祂；因為義人必”因信得生”地活在我們生命旅程的每一天裏，邁向我們在天上的家 。

亞伯拉罕因著信，蒙召的時候就遵命出去，往將來要得為業的地方去；出去的時候，還不知往哪裡去。 他因著信，就在所應許之地作客，好像在異地居住帳篷，與那同蒙一個應許的以撒、雅各一樣。 因為他等候那座有根基的城，就是神所經營、所建造的。(希伯來書11:8-10）

總而言之。我們如何生活在一彎曲悖逆的世代裹呢？我們要全然信靠全智全能全聖咋在今在永在的上帝。請思考如下聖經的教導；

腓立比書 2:14-16

“凡所行的，都不要發怨言，起爭論，

使你們無可指摘，誠實無偽，在這彎曲悖謬的世代作神無瑕疵的兒女。你們顯在這世代中，好像明光照耀，將生命的道表明出來，叫我在基督的日子好誇我沒有空跑，也沒有徒勞。” 

我們要切記這世界之所以邪惡是因為展示罪的後果。我們知道任何被罪污染的，必衰敗死亡。罪的結果就是說謊、謀殺、敗壞、仇恨、黑暗、邪惡和死亡。生命的本質就是要脫離衰敗死亡。這就是為什麼福音是大好的信息，因為耶穌基督毁壞了魔鬼的作為，戰勝征服死亡。我們頌讚主耶穌偉大無比的救贖大工，將最大最終的禮物永生給一切相信祂的人。

願我們的大牧者、主耶穌基督，在我們生活中得榮耀。阿門。

When all said and done, a good habit is very profitable in our sanctification process. Merely head knowledge without practice is just head knowledge and will not do us any good. Just like knowledge of how to swim without learning  it in the water is worthless and will not save a person from drowning. 

Examples of a few good habits follow:

A. A simple daily routine such as  go to bed early and be an early riser to have a quiet time in prayer and in planning a day will be a profitable habit.
B. A habit of organizing things to avoid wasting time in finding things.  You will be surprised to know this good habit will probably save you several years of your life.
C. A habit of taking God as first priority in your thinking pattern on all things in your daily life. This habit is the promised way to receive God's blessings in your life.  This practice with its God centered world view is priceless and is the way to live a joyful and peaceful life amidst the chaos of this life in a wicked world.

May you honor your God with gratitude and thanksgiving.  The Bible reminds us that we love God because He loves us first. Furthermore, He loves us with ever lasting love not like us unsteady and not faithful most of the times.

Even with our imperfection, may we love God more and more every day because this is the blessed way to live our lives even though we may be prosecuted for doing so.

2 Tim 3:12
12 Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.

2 Tim 1:12
12 For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.

這是大家都說過和做過的，總而言之、在我們成聖的過程中，一個好的習慣是非常有益的。只是頭腦的知識而不去實踐，就只是頭腦的知識，不會對我們有什麼好處。就像如何游泳的知識而沒有在水中學習游泳，是一樣沒有價值的知識，不會救一個人免於溺水。

舉幾個好習慣的例子如下：

 A. 簡單的日常工作，如早睡，並且早起，有一個安靜的時間禱告，並規劃每天，將是一個有利可圖的習慣。

B. 將東西作好存檔的習慣，可以避免浪費時間在尋找的東西。你會驚訝地知道，這個好習慣會節省你的生命好幾年。
 
C. 養成一個習慣，即是在日常生活中，將上帝放在第一優先，凌駕於所有的東西的思維模式。這個習慣是在生活中，能接受神的祝福的好方法。將上帝做為世界觀中心，是無價的好作法；是生活在一個邪惡的世界的混亂中，能夠享有歡樂祥和生活的一個好方法。

D. 在忙碌生活中，要有為上帝所造物中，如花草樹木、如星星月亮、如瀑沛風景等等，在小事中欣賞讚美喜樂的好習性。

願你以感激和感恩的心，榮耀你的上帝。聖經提醒我們，我們愛上帝，因為祂先愛我們。此外，祂永遠信實的愛我們，不像我們大部分時間，是不穩定和不忠心的。

即使我們是不完美，願每天更愛我們的上帝，因為這是我們生活受祝福的方式，縱使我們這樣做，會被邪惡世界逼迫責難。

提摩太後書 3:12

12 不但如此，凡立志在基督耶穌裡敬虔度日的，也都要受逼迫。

提摩太後書 1:12

12 為這緣故，我也受這些苦難，然而我不以為恥，因為知道我所信的是誰，也深信他能保全我所交付他的，直到那日。

You may ask application of what in our daily life? This is indeed a great question. Since life is complicated and since many of us are indeed very busy in struggling to make a living, we would like to talk about application of the Bible in just one aspect of our daily life- how to utilize the weekend or your leisure time.

你可能會問，在我們的日常生活中，如何應用聖經？這的確是一個很大的問題。因為生活是複雜的，而且因為許多人都確實是非常繁忙、掙扎於謀生。我們只想談談應用聖經在我們的日常生命的一個方面，即如何利用週末或閒暇時間。

Since family is the best safety net, family relationship should be at the top of the priorities in enjoying your leisure time. So please meditate the following for your application:

因為家庭是最好的安全網，家庭關係應該是在享受你的閒暇時間的最優先考量。所以，請您好好想想下列各項來應用：

1. Do plan to date your spouse once a week by planning something or some activity that both of you enjoy. Do enjoy each other’s company. This is an art that all of us need to learn. The more we practice it the better joy we would appreciate. Some couples are doing this quite naturally. Others need to practice to be able to communicate with each other better. Matter-of-fact approach or caustic words are the worst enemies to us all. Try to spend some time together on something beautiful, positive, and joyful. It may not even be with money or material things. In any event, a little love goes a long way.

1.好好計劃，每週與您的配偶來次約會，討論一些事情或共享你倆喜歡的活動。享受擁有對方陪伴的時刻。這是一門我們大家都需要學習藝術。越常練習，會讓我們感受到更好的喜悅。有些夫婦是很自然的這樣做。其他需要練習，以便能夠更好地相互溝通。就事論事的做事方法或傷人的言語是我們最可怕的敵人。試著一起花些時間在美好，積極，快樂的事物。它甚至可能不是金錢或物質上的東西。在任何情況下，一點點的愛可走一段很長的路。

2. Do the same with your children. Children are God’s gift to us. So be extra attention to the welling being of your children. Do you know the interest or the problem bothering your precious children?

3. It is interesting to note that fellowship with our gracious God is the foundation of the family relationship. Learn from our Lord Jesus Christ. In Him are all the riches beyond our comprehension.
Do try a little harder to know our Lord who is the source of wisdom, righteousness, holiness, and blessed eternal joy. 

3.值得一提的是，追隨我們的寶貴上帝，乃是家庭關係的基礎。從我們的主耶穌基督學習。在祂裡面是遠超過我們理解的所有財富。
加把勁來瞭解我們的主；祂是智慧，公義，聖潔，永恆祝福的歡樂之源。

Obedience to God is much better than offering sacrifices - Hos 6:6
