With all the fads coming and going in our time, it is important that we continue focusing on the real important stuff rather than wasting our time and resource on the fads and /or our own misguided endeavors.

So what is the most important truth for each of us in future! We take it self evident that it is the eternal life in the future. Many enticing schemes of this world's fads are based upon "live it  now without care of future". Instant everything, instant pleasure to satisfy self, and instant gratification such as material things, drugs, sex, power, and alcohol etc, are indeed today's fads.

那麼，什麼是未來我們每個人、最重要的真理！我們心知自明，那就是未來的、永恆生命。這個世界上、許多誘人潮流的方案，是基於“活在當下、不關心未來”的心態 。即時的一切、即時的快感、以滿足自我，及時行樂，如物質的慾望、毒品、性、權力和酒精等，確實是當今的潮流。

We really need to back to the real important stuff in the future. Unless we truly realize that there are much more than sex and there are much more than drinking ourselves to death, we will be deceived by this world and by our flesh. You may ask what are more important than "pleasure now". As a starter,  eternal life will be one example.

我們真的需要回到、未來的真正重要工作。除非我們體認到，那是比吃喝玩樂、醉生夢死更為重要；我們會被這個世界和我們的肉體欺騙。你可能會問，什麼會比“及時作樂，享受當下”更重要？。首先，永恆的生命就是一個例子。

回到未來的永生
After we acquire involuntarily a few gray hairs on our head, we realize from our experience that life is indeed very fragile and very limited. We observe the following facts: people die everyday, life is unpredictable, and we are busy in spending our days without due preparation for the future. There are many world views or life views if you prefer to call it. But fundamentally they belong to two categories: the first category includes those views/systems conceived by mankind and the second category includes only one view that is "we are created by God". We exclude all the category 1 stuff and left them to the world to worship their idols. Why? simply because none of the authors of those views including wise men, gurus, philosophers, ever survived themselves individually or collectively.  Their ideologies are just like the idols created by them-the false gods who cannot even talk.  So we are going to trust God and discuss the survival truth taught in the Bible in this web page.

So what is eternal life as defined in the Bible. 

A. Eternal life is simply "there is no death for you". That is, the death is gone forever. Death exists no more. What a day that shall be! No death, no pain, no tears, no accidents. All pure joy in fellowship with human beings and with God who loves us forever! You may ask where in the Bible teaches this.

Revelation 21:3-5 New King James Version (NKJV)

3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.5 Then He who sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write, for these words are true and faithful.

那麼，什麼是在聖經中定義的永生。
A. 永生，簡單的說、就是“你沒有死”。也就是說，死亡已經一去不復返了。死亡不存在了。那會是什麼樣的一天！無死亡、無痛苦、沒有眼淚、沒有意外發生。只有和人類及永遠愛我們的上帝團契的喜悅！你可能會問，聖經在何處教導這一點。

3 我聽見有大聲音從寶座出來說：「看哪，神的帳幕在人間！他要與人同住，他們要做他的子民，神要親自與他們同在，做他們的神。 4 神要擦去他們一切的眼淚，不再有死亡，也不再有悲哀、哭號、疼痛，因為以前的事都過去了。」 5 坐寶座的說：「看哪，我將一切都更新了！」又說：「你要寫上，因這些話是可信的，是真實的。」

B. You may ask how to be blessed with the eternal life with God?

Cut through all the theologies, it is actually quite simple. We just need to listen and follow what the Bible teaches us.

John 3:16       New King James Version (NKJV)
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

This means that we need to believe in God only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Listen to what He says !

John 11:25-26            New King James Version (NKJV)
25 Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?

B. 你可能會問、如何得到上帝、永生的賜福？

C. What happen if we ignore God. Listen to the Bible's warning! " We shall die in our sins"

9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.

Back to Future into Eternity 回到未來、進入永恆
The future life that our Lord Jesus blesses us is indeed full of glory , peace, and joy. Before we discuss in detail what that life consists of.  We must first discuss how precious the eternal life is.  Why? One of the reasons that many people does not realize the glory of the gospel is that they do not really understand and appreciate how precious the eternal life is.
我們的主耶穌所賜福、給我們的未來生命，確實是充滿榮耀、平安、快樂。在詳細討論生命、是什麼組成之前，我們首先要討論、永恆生命是多麼珍貴。為什麼呢？原因之一是，許多人並沒有意識到福音的榮耀，是因為他們並不真正理解和體會到、永恆的生命是多麼珍貴。

Let us examine a few facts. 

Fact 1- Do you know why people die. With all the modern technology and advancement of medicine, people still die.  Why? You may say that it is too expensive in treatments and that many people can not afford the new treatments. This is true. But even those who can afford still die. Why? Because we still do not know many details of life processes, particularly in the molecular level. So there is indeed no assurance that we will not die. Actually, many diseases are healed by supporting cares to pop up our own immune system to fight off the inflammations.

讓我們看看一些事實。
事實1  - 你知道為什麼人會死。有了現代科技和醫學的進步，人還是死了。為什麼呢？你可能會說，治療太昂貴，很多人沒錢負擔新的治療方法。這是真實的，即使是那些負擔得起的人、還是死了。為什麼呢？因為我們仍然不知道維持生命過程的細節，特別是在分子的層面上。所以確實是沒有、我們不會死的保證。其實，許多疾病是經由、支持療法、強化我們自身的免疫系統、擊退疾病的發炎而痊癒。

Fact 2- Your Life indeed is Very Precious and Your Eternal life even More Precious. How much do you place a price on life? I am sure that many would say that it is priceless. However,it is clear  that we are not consistently act in such a way that life is priceless. Why life is priceless ? Just because each life is unique and we can not recreate it or even keep it last say more than 200 years. Did you ever see a 200 years old person? Even if you were to see one, it is not to be a pretty picture, is it? So How precious is eternal timeless life? You can not buy it with any price; you can not entitle it with any deeds; you simply can not get it through yourself or through the world!
事實2  - 你的生命確實是很珍貴，而你永恆的生命更珍貴。你覺得生命何價？我相信很多人會說，是無價的。但是，很顯然，我們的行為，有時候並沒有輔合“生命是無價”的原則。為什麼生命是無價？正因為每一個生命都是獨特的，我們不能重新創建它，甚至無法維持它很久，就說200年以上吧！你看過200歲的老人嗎？即使你看到一個，它也不是一個漂亮、悅目的圖片，不是嗎？因此，永恆、無限的生命，該是多麼的珍貴？你不能用任何價格買它，你更不能賦予任何行為、要求它；你根本無法、通過自己或通過世界、得到它！

Fact 3- Given Facts 1 and 2, it is indeed an even more priceless Grace and unmatched Mercy and Love that the only Merciful God offers to us a blessed eternal life through His Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Why? because we are utterly wicked and evil and not worthy whatsoever! Why? Because we rebel against God and are God's enemies and are doomed to hell for destruction! It is even more love that it causes God unspeakable suffering of His only begotten Son at the cross to pay our sins to save us !! 
That is why the Bible say that God is love. How much do you think that we understand love although this word have been used so carelessly everyday.
事實3－從事實1和2可知，這的確是一個更無價的恩典和無與倫比的仁慈和愛，唯一仁慈的上帝、通過他的兒子、我們的主耶穌基督，提供給我們一個幸福、永恆的生命。為什麼呢？因為我們是如此邪惡和有罪的，沒有任何資格來得到它！為什麼呢？因為我們反叛上帝，是上帝的敵人，是注定要下地獄而毀滅！這甚至是更大的愛，因為上帝忍受難言的痛苦、讓祂的獨生子、在十字架上支付我們的罪，來拯救我們！這就是為什麼聖經說、上帝就是愛。你想、我們對“愛”有多少瞭解，雖然每天隨便地、使用這個名詞。

So we need to back to future and live the true meaning of love. First thing we need to do now is to appreciate how precious life is and even more how precious eternal life is and  to realize how rare, how scare, how unique the eternal life is!!! Thus, first and ultimate importance is that we thank and recognize our Merciful God in our daily life now and begin to live eternal life right from now into eternity.
因此，我們需要回到未來，擁有充滿愛的真諦的生命。我們現在需要做的第一件事情、就是去感恩多麼珍貴的生命，尤其是更珍貴的永生；要體會永生是多麼的難得，多麼的驚奇，多麼的獨特！因此，首先且至終的重要，是在目前每天的生活中、我們要感謝並承認我們仁慈的上帝，而且從現在開始至永恆、過著永恆的生命。

Listen to Jesus Christ Calling You：

35 And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe. 37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

As Christians, do you ever think about what the future eternal life may look like. Obviously, we have not been there so we have to rely upon what our Lord tells us in the Bible. One thing for sure, the Bible tells us that our eternal lives in the future is so blessed beyond our comprehension. For example, Apostle Peter revealed to us in 1 Peter 1:3-5
A Heavenly Inheritance
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
作為基督徒，你有沒有想過、未來永恆的生命，可能是什麼樣子？顯然，我們還沒有去過那裡，所以我們必須依靠、我們的主在聖經中所告訴我們。有一點可以肯定，聖經告訴我們，我們未來能擁有永恆的生命，是超過我們所能理解的恩典。例如，使徒彼得、在彼得前書1:3-5向我們的透露：
可以得著、不朽壞、不衰殘的基業
3 願頌讚歸於我們主耶穌基督的父神！他曾照自己的大憐憫，藉著耶穌基督從死裡復活，重生了我們，叫我們有活潑的盼望， 4 可以得著不能朽壞、不能玷汙、不能衰殘、為你們存留在天上的基業。 5 你們這因信蒙神能力保守的人，必能得著所預備、到末世要顯現的救恩。

Do you ever think about how beautiful and how glorious that inheritance will be? Even now we are amazed by the magnificent description of the heavenly Jerusalem!!!  A city which is architected by God has gates made of pearls and walls made of all kinds of precious stones and streets made of gold, not the gold we know but a transparent gold that can reflect the magnificent glory from our Lord.
你有沒有想過、那個基業，將會何等的漂亮、何等的榮耀？即使是現在，我們是多麼的驚嘆，看到對天上的耶路撒冷的宏偉描述！一個由上帝所建構的城市，由珍珠做成的城門、由各種寶石組成的城牆、由黃金組成的街道；不是我們所知的黃金、而是一種透明的黃金，可以反映出、我們主的壯麗輝煌！

Actually, the beauty of the heavenly home is far far beyond our expectations. You may ask : How do you know that? Because the Bible tells us so. Apostle Paul revealed this in 1 Corinthians 2:9 as follows;
9 But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man. The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.

其實，天家的美、是遠遠超出了我們的預期。你可能會問：你怎麼知道的？因為聖經告訴我們這樣。使徒保羅在哥林多前書2：9透露了如下：
9 如經上所記：「神為愛他的人所預備的，是眼睛未曾看見，耳朵未曾聽見，人心也未曾想到的。」

Come to think of it. This has to be so. Why? Anything that we can think about from our experience in this corrupt world and from our damaged mind from sin would not be suitable for eternal life.
試想想它。這是必須如此的。為什麼呢？凡是我們，用由這個朽壞的世界得到的經驗，用我們被罪惡世界損壞的心靈，所能想得到的任何事物，都將不適合永恆的生命。

Actually, we as Christians are indeed blessed by our God beyond our thoughts. Let us listen to What God says in Isaiah 55:8-9;
8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.
其實，我們的上帝、給我們基督徒的賜福，確實是超出了我們的想法。讓我們來聽聽、上帝在以賽亞書55：8-9所說;
主道孔達、主念宏遠
8 耶和華說：「我的意念非同你們的意念，我的道路非同你們的道路。 9 天怎樣高過地，照樣，我的道路高過你們的道路，我的意念高過你們的意念。

In our limited mind capacity, how can we contamplate eternality? Most of us rarely think about  things beyond past and present because we have too many present problems. Eternal things are beyond comprehension, so we do not think about it.  This is one of the blinders of this world. We shall think about eternal life as revealed to us so beautifully in the Scripture.
在我們有限的、心靈能力裡，我們怎能仔細考慮永恆？我們大多數人，很少去想、超越過去與現正的事情，因為我們現在存在有太多的問題。永恆的東西是無法理解的，所以我們就不想到這件事。這是這個世界欺騙人的盲點之一。我們要想想、聖經裡顯露的美妙永生。

When we think about our future eternal life, we tend to think about it in term of time. But this is not correct because eternal life is beyond time. Actually, do you ever think about this; time and space are related. This means that if eternal life is beyond time, it is beyond the space that we know of as well. In any event, when we contemplate anything we are not sure of, the best way is to seek the professional opinions. In this case, the only reliable source is the one revealed by the infinite God. Why? Very simple. Do you see anybody who live more than say, 200 years. 
So it is indeed a lately fad that several authors made lot of money by  describing  a near-death  returning from heaven experience in their books. These are nothing new but an age-old deceptive scheme. But if anyone is really interested in heavens, then one should read the Bible and become a Christian.
當我們思考、我們的未來永恆的生命時，我們傾向於想到它的時間局限。但是，這是不正確的，因為永恆的生命是超越時間的。其實，你有沒有想過這一點，時間和空間是相關的。這意味著，如果永生是超越時間，它同樣也超出了、我們所知道的空間。在任何情況下，當我們思考到、我們不知道的事物時，最好的辦法是尋求專業的意見。在這個情況下，唯一可靠的來源是、通過一個無限神所揭示的教導。為什麼呢？很簡單，你曾看見一個活過200年的人嗎？因此，這的確是一個最近流行風潮；一些作者、藉由描述一個瀕臨死亡、由天堂回來經歷的作品，而發了大財！這並不是什麼新鮮事，只是老套的欺騙方法。但是，若有人、真的對天堂有興趣，那麼應該讀聖經，並成為基督徒。

So what is eternal life in the future. First of all, it is beyond this life and you can not get it in this world.You may ask how can one get it then? Let us see what the Bible tells us:

(1) First of all, we need to be born again into the God's family in order to inherit eternal life.

John 3:3-8
3 Jesus answered and said to him, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus said to Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mothers womb and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again. 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.

那麼，什麼是未來、永恆的生命。首先，它是超出了今生，而且你不能在這個世界上得到它的。
你可能會問、一個人如何才能得到它呢？讓我們看看聖經所告訴我們：

（1）首先，我們需要重生、進入神的家庭，以承受永生。

約翰福音3：3-8
3 耶穌回答說：「我實實在在地告訴你：人若不重生，就不能見神的國。」 4 尼哥迪慕說：「人已經老了，如何能重生呢？豈能再進母腹生出來嗎？」 5 耶穌說：「我實實在在地告訴你：人若不是從水和聖靈生的，就不能進神的國。 6 從肉身生的就是肉身，從靈生的就是靈。 7 我說你們必須重生，你不要以為稀奇。 8 風隨著意思吹，你聽見風的響聲，卻不曉得從哪裡來，往哪裡去。凡從聖靈生的，也是如此。」

(2) It is indeed arrogant if we think that we can become a Christian by our decision. It is indeed tragic to behave that way. To become Christians is to be adopted into the God's family.  It is not your decision but God grace alone. Please listen to what God says.
Ephesians 2:8-1

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

（2）如果我們認為、我們可以通過我們自己的決定就能成為基督徒，實在是太囂張，也的確是悲劇性的行為。要成為基督徒，必須要被接受、收養進入神的家庭。這是不是你的決定，而是上帝的恩典。請聽神的話語。
以弗所書 2：8-10
8 你們得救是本乎恩，也因著信；這並不是出於自己，乃是神所賜的；
9 也不是出於行為，免得有人自誇。
10 我們原是他的工作，在基督耶穌裡造成的，為要叫我們行善，就是神所預備叫我們行的 。

(3) Because of this, we have in this website pleaded with you to humble yourself before the Almighty God and believe in Jesus Christ to receive this eternal gift. Time is of essence. Do it now because tomorrow may not be yours.
John 3:16

You may ask if eternal life is beyond time and space. Then what is it? Well, let us listen to what our precious Lord Jesus Christ teaches us. In one of the greatest teaching lessons recorded in Upper Room Discourse i.e., John Chapters 13-17, our Lord teaches us the following concerning eternal life.

17 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: Father, the hour has come. 17 耶穌說了這話，就舉目望天說：「父啊，時候到了，願你榮耀你的兒子，使兒子也榮耀你！ 2 正如你曾賜給他權柄管理凡有血氣的，叫他將永生賜給你所賜給他的人。 3 認識你獨一的真神，並且認識你所差來的耶穌基督，這就是永生。

This is indeed a great teaching from our Lord how He defines for our benefits the eternal life with God. This is indeed an immense blessing if we would ponder this great truth day and night in our pilgrimage towards our heavenly home. It is very clear and yet so profound!  We need to really devote our ultimate energy and interest in trying our best to "they may know You, the only God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent"!
這確實是我們的主耶穌偉大的教學，如何為我們的利益、定義了與上帝一起的永生。這的確是一個巨大的恩典祝福，在我們邁向我們在天家朝聖的途中，如果我們能日夜思考這個偉大的真理。這是非常明確的，且是如此深奧！我們需要真正地、獻出我們的最大的能量和興趣、盡最大努力，認識上帝、獨一的真神，並且認識上帝所差來的耶穌基督！

In fact, this has been the thrust of the teachings from the Bible all alone. As an example, please listen to Apostle Paul's prayer for us:

Ephesians 1:15-23 Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom
15 Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Let us also join with Paul's prayer in Romans 11:33-36:
33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! 34 For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has become His counselor? 35 Or who has first given to Him. And it shall be repaid to him?
36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
讓我們與保羅一起禱告，羅馬書11：33-36：
主智無窮主道難尋

In the me-generation postmodernism world, you may wonder why we even talk about such boring subject as righteousness. However, in case that we forget, without righteousness no one can get into heavens. This subject is so important that our Lord reminds us in Matthew 5:20 as:

Matthew 5:20
20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

在我們的後現代主義自我世界裡，你可能好奇、為什麼我們還要談論這公義的題目。但我們別忘了，如果沒有稱義、任何人都不能進入天堂。這個主題是如此的重要，我們的主在馬太福音5:20，提醒我們：
馬太福音5:20
20我告訴你們：你們的義若不勝於文士和法利賽人的義，斷不能進天國。

It is indeed very funny to note that many people like to boast about their righteousness, particularly religious gurus or self claimed saviors of the world. But if we carefully observe the facts, we can quickly notice the following:

這世界實在是很奇怪，許多人喜歡誇耀自己的義，尤其是宗教大師或自我宣稱為世界救星的人。但是，如果仔細觀察一些事實，我們可以很快注意到以下幾點：

1. Our human righteousness is tainted by self righteousness.
2. All righteousness claimed by various peoples are based upon their own cultural/political/historical factors and hence are all relative. This explains why there are conflicts between nations because their righteousness value systems are in conflicts.
3. If you have questions about this, just look at the conflicts in the middle east region. Every side claims that they are the true righteousness.
4. We really have not seen a day of no conflicts in the world.  This tells a lot about the human righteousness and rationalism.
5. We have plenty of pundits who can spin any topic into shades of truth, or half truth, or mixture of truth and lies to fit their political orientations. 

1.我們人類的公義，被個人一己的義污染了。
2.各式各樣的人所稱的義，都基於自己的文化/政治/歷史因素，因此都是相對的。這就解釋了、為什麼有國與國之間會有衝突，因為他們的公義價值體系是互相衝突的。
3.如果您對這樣說法有疑問，只要看看在中東地區的衝突。每一方不都是聲稱，他們才是真正的義嗎？
4.我們還真沒看過的世界上有、無衝突的一天。這說明了很多關於、人類的正義和理性。
5.我們有很多專家翻轉任何主題來掩蓋真理，或用半真半假，真真假假混合的謊言，來包裝、合理化他們的政治取向。

Now let look at what the almighty God said about our human righteousness. 

現在，讓我們來看看全能的上帝，如何論述人類的公義。

A. Isaiah 1:21-23, The Degenerate City

21 How the faithful city has become a harlot! It was full of justice; Righteousness lodged in it, But now murderers. 22 Your silver has become dross, Your wine mixed with water. 23 Your princes are rebellious, And companions of thieves; Everyone loves bribes, And follows after rewards.They do not defend the fatherless, Nor does the cause of the widow come before them.

A.以賽亞書1：21-23  嘆聖城敗壞
21可嘆忠信的城變為妓女！從前充滿了公平，公義居在其中，現今卻有凶手居住！22你的銀子變為渣滓，你的酒用水摻兌。23你的官長居心悖逆，與盜賊做伴，各都喜愛賄賂，追求贓私。他們不為孤兒申冤，寡婦的案件也不得呈到他們面前。

This describes the human societies, whether east or west, pretty well, isn’t it?

這不就是相當正確地、描述人類的社會，不管是東方還是西方的世界的狀況嗎？

B. Romans 3:10-20
10 As it is written:“There is none righteous, no, not one; 11 There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. 12 They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable;There is none who does good, no, not one.” 13 “Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues they have practiced deceit”; “The poison of asps is under their lips”; 14 “Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.” 15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood; 16 Destruction and misery are in their ways; 17 And the way of peace they have not known.” 18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” 19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

B.羅馬書 3：10-20
10就如經上所記：「沒有義人，連一個也沒有。11沒有明白的，沒有尋求神的。12都是偏離正路，一同變為無用；沒有行善的，連一個也沒有。13他們的喉嚨是敞開的墳墓，他們用舌頭弄詭詐，嘴唇裡有虺蛇的毒氣， 14滿口是咒罵苦毒。15殺人流血，他們的腳飛跑； 16所經過的路，便行殘害暴虐的事； 17平安的路，他們未曾知道。18他們眼中不怕神。」19我們曉得律法上的話都是對律法以下之人說的，好塞住各人的口，叫普世的人都伏在神審判之下。20所以凡有血氣的，沒有一個因行律法能在神面前稱義，因為律法本是叫人知罪。

This describes the post-modern cultures of today in this world very well indeed. There have been two world wars and numerous regional conflicts just in last 100 years of the human history. Very sad, isn’t it? The evolution theory is a joke because human beings do not learn from history and the world is spinning downward to chaos and destruction.  No wonder we  have piracies in open seas in the 21th  modern century and still see the tragedies of millions of refugees due to conflicts in the Middle East.

這的確很適當地描寫了，目前這個後現代文化的世界。只在過去100年的人類歷史，就有過兩次世界大戰和許多地區的衝突。令人傷心，不是嗎？進化論是一個笑話，因為人類不會從歷史中汲取教訓，世界向下沉淪至混亂和破壞。難怪在21世紀的現代，我們在公海有海盜，仍然看到因中東地區的衝突、造成數以百萬計的難民的悲劇。

C. Isaiah 64:4-7
4 For since the beginning of the world
Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him. 5 You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, Who remembers You in Your ways. You are indeed angry, for we have sinned—In these ways we continue; And we need to be saved. 6 But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away. 7 And there is no one who calls on Your name, Who stirs himself up to take hold of You; For You have hidden Your face from us, And have consumed us because of our iniquities.

C.以賽亞書64：4-7 自認罪愆
4從古以來，人未曾聽見、未曾耳聞、未曾眼見在你以外有什麼神為等候他的人行事。5你迎接那歡喜行義、記念你道的人。你曾發怒，我們仍犯罪。這景況已久，我們還能得救嗎？ 6我們都像不潔淨的人，所有的義都像汙穢的衣服；我們都像葉子漸漸枯乾，我們的罪孽好像風把我們吹去。7並且無人求告你的名，無人奮力抓住你，原來你掩面不顧我們，使我們因罪孽消化。

This explains very well that the righteousness of the human system is indeed futile.  And this has been proven time and again by the human history.
We therefore are back to future for the pure righteousness of the mighty God.  God is light and in Him there is no darkness. We recall a beautiful Bible verse uttered by our precious Lord Jesus Christ in the Upper Discourse recorded in 
John 14:30-31, 
30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. 31 But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do. Arise, let us go from here.

這很清楚說明，人類系統的公義的確是徒勞的。這已是、一次又次、被人類的歷史證明。
因此，我們又要回到未來、全能的神的純義。神是光，在主內沒有黑暗。我們還記得珍貴的主耶穌基督在樓閣論道、珍貴的話，記錄在約翰福音14：30-31，
30以後我不再和你們多說話，因為這世界的王將到；他在我裡面是毫無所有，31但要叫世人知道我愛父，並且父怎樣吩咐我，我就怎樣行。起來，我們走吧！」

Just like Joshua 24:14-15 so indicated:
14 “Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord! 15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

就像約書亞記 24:14-15, 所記述：
14「現在你們要敬畏耶和華，誠心實意地侍奉他，將你們列祖在大河那邊和在埃及所侍奉的神除掉，去侍奉耶和華。15若是你們以侍奉耶和華為不好，今日就可以選擇所要侍奉的，是你們列祖在大河那邊所侍奉的神呢，是你們所住這地的亞摩利人的神呢？至於我和我家，我們必定侍奉耶和華。」

Indeed,  many people rejected Jesus Christ when He came to the earth two thousand years ago,  as told in John 1:9-11, 

9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

事實上，兩千多年前、當耶穌基督來到地球時，很多人拒絕了祂，如約翰福音1：9-11，所述：

9那光是真光，照亮一切生在世上的人。10他在世界，世界也是藉著他造的，世界卻不認識他。11他到自己的地方來，自己的人倒不接待他。

As for us, we will serve Him as told in John 1:12,
12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

至於我們，我們將侍奉祂，如約翰福音1:12，
12凡接待他的，就是信他名的人，他就賜他們權柄做神的兒女。

We ,therefore, are looking forward to the days when He returns to claim His righteous kingdom in this world. And for now, we are back to future to His righteousness as our only hope of righteousness. This is also revealed in the Holy Scripture in 1 Corinthians 1:30;
30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.

因此，我們盼望，祂回來這個世界，重建祂的公義王國的日子來臨。而目前，我們要回到未來、祂的公義作為我們公義的唯一希望。這也批示在聖經之哥林多前書1:30;

30但你們得在基督耶穌裡，是本乎神，神又使他成為我們的智慧、公義、聖潔、救贖。

Actually, this is  what the Gospel good news is all about. Because God’s love to the world, anyone, irregardless one’s ethnic background or financial status or position in the society or education level,  can have God’s perfect righteousness if one believe in Jesus Christ as his/her Lord and Savior. 

事實上，這正是福音的好消息。因為上帝對這世界的愛，任何人，無論個人的種族背景、財務狀況、社會地位、或教育程度；只要相信耶穌基督為他/她的主和救主，可以有上帝完美的公義。

We are based on this amazing grace from God’s will as revealed in the Holy Scripture as follows:

我們根據在聖經所透露之神的旨意，記述​這個奇異的恩典如下：

* John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
＊約翰福音 3:16 神愛世人
16「神愛世人，甚至將他的獨生子賜給他們，叫一切信他的不致滅亡，反得永生。

*  Romans 1:16-17
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

＊羅馬書 1:16-17 是神的大能
16我不以福音為恥，這福音本是神的大能，要救一切相信的，先是猶太人，後是希臘人。 17因為神的義正在這福音上顯明出來，這義是本於信以至於信，如經上所記：「義人必因信得生。」

* Romans 3:21-26 God’s Righteousness Through Faith
21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

＊羅馬書 3:21-26 信靠耶穌乃得稱義
21但如今，神的義在律法以外已經顯明出來，有律法和先知為證，22就是神的義因信耶穌基督加給一切相信的人，並沒有分別。23因為世人都犯了罪，虧缺了神的榮耀， 24 如今卻蒙神的恩典，因基督耶穌的救贖，就白白地稱義。 25 神設立耶穌做挽回祭，是憑著耶穌的血，藉著人的信，要顯明神的義。因為他用忍耐的心寬容人先時所犯的罪， 26 好在今時顯明他的義，使人知道他自己為義，也稱信耶穌的人為義。

Praise the LORD for His loving kindness for us who are blessed to believe in our precious Lord who died for us to pay the penalty of our sins in full and who also imputed His righteousness to us so we can enter His kingdom of heaven. Praise the almighty  God for His amazing grace to all Christians indeed.

讚美耶和華，祂將慈愛賜給我們，祝福我們相信寶貴的主為我們而死，祂為我們的罪付出完整的贖罪，祂也將祂的義給了我們，讓我們能進入祂的天國。實實在在地、讚美全能的上帝，因為祂將奇異的恩典，給了所有的基督徒。

As a person in this world, it is indeed very hard to cut through various blinders to seek the reality. According to the Bible, we are still in an unredeemed fleshly body and hence we are prone to wander in this world. In other words, we spend more time on the things that are visible on this earth than on the things that are above and not visible. Yet, the Holy Scripture tells us clearly in Colossians 3:1-2

3 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

作為這個世界上的一個人，的確是很困難能超越，遮蔽視力的種種障目；讓我們無法洞悉狀況、尋找到真實。根據聖經，我們仍處於未被救贖的肉體、有罪的身體裡，所以我們很容易、徘徊沉迷在這個世界裡。換句話說，我們花了很多的時間在這個地球上、看得到的事物；而非在上面、不可見的事情上。然而，聖經清楚地在歌羅西書3:1-2，告訴我們:
3所以，你們若真與基督一同復活，就當求在上面的事，那裡有基督坐在神的右邊。2你們要思念上面的事，不要思念地上的事。

Did you ever meditate these two verses? Because our perspectives tend to be earth-bound, it is very important that we should be back to future perspectives. You may ask what are the future perspectives? This is indeed a great question.

你是否曾經、仔細思考過這兩經句？因為我們的觀點往往是限於地球上的事，那麼我們回到未來的觀點就是非常重要。你可能會問什麼是未來的觀點？這的確是一個很大的問題。

We know very well that in the future we Christians will be in heavens with our Lord Jesus Christ. We will be able to see with the heavenly perspectives. One of the best ways of illustrating this is as follows:

我們很清楚知道，我們基督徒將來是在天堂、與我們的主耶穌基督在一起。我們將能看到天堂的景觀。說明這一點的最好辦法如下：

When we are in this world, we are like  caterpillars which live on the surface of the earth. Thus, a caterpillar tends to have earthly two-dimensional views. Once caterpillar entered a cocoon and emerges as a butterfly. Now a butterfly lives in a three-dimensional (3D) world and will have 3D perspectives. 
當我們在這個世界上，我們就像生活在地球表面的毛毛蟲。因此，毛蟲看到的是地平面上、二度空間的視覺景觀。一旦毛蟲破繭而出、就羽化蛻變成蝴蝶。蝴蝶是處在一個三度空間的世界中，將具有三度空間的觀點。

That is why Col 3:1 says that “ If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting  at the right hand of God”. It is noted that in order to be able to seek those things which are above, we must  first be raised with Christ.  In order to be raised with Christ, we must first die with Christ at His cross. You may ask again: Christ died at His cross more than two thousand years ago, how could I die with Him?  This is indeed a mystery. We know that our water baptism represented exactly this mystery. In our Baptism, we identified with Christ’s death and we were raised with Christ.  Just like the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly, we were born again onto a heavenly person with heavenly perspectives.

這就是為什麼歌羅西書3：1說：“你們若真與基督一同復活，就當求在上面的事，那裡有基督坐在神的右邊”。值得注意的是，為了能夠思念上面的事，我們必須先與基督一同復活。為了與基督一同復活，就必須先與基督一起死在祂的十字架上。你可以再問：基督早在兩千餘年前，就死在祂的十字架上了，我怎麼可能跟祂一起死？這的確是一個奧祕。我們知道，我們用水的受洗禮，代表的正是這奧秘。在我們的洗禮中，我們如同與基督死，與基督一同復活。就像毛毛蟲羽化成蝶，我們重生成為屬天上的人、有屬天的觀點。

Actually, if we read Col 3:3-4 carefully, the Bible indeed tell us why this is so.

Colossians 3:3-4
3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

事實上，如果我們仔細讀歌羅西書3：3-4，聖經確實告訴我們、為什麼會這樣。
歌羅西書 3:3-4:
3因為你們已經死了，你們的生命與基督一同藏在神裡面。4基督是我們的生命，他顯現的時候，你們也要與他一同顯現在榮耀裡。

This is indeed a great truth about our new birth-born again: for “ you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. “  This is why we must be back to the future heavenly perspectives. And just as Col 3: 5-6 says;
5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,

這確實是、我們的新出生-重生的一個偉大的真理：因為“你們已經死了，你們的生命與基督一同藏在神裡面”。這就是為什麼我們必須回到未來屬天的觀點。而且，正如歌羅西書3：5-6說;
5所以要治死你們在地上的肢體，就如淫亂、汙穢、邪情、惡慾和貪婪，貪婪就與拜偶像一樣。6因這些事，神的憤怒必臨到那悖逆之子。

This is also why the Scripture says in Gal 5:24;
24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

這也是為什麼聖經，在加拉太書 5:24說;
24凡屬基督耶穌的人，是已經把肉體連肉體的邪情私慾同釘在十字架上了。

Thus, it is very important that we are back to future perspectives to seek heavenly things. We need to desire and meditate and set our minds on  the things above. We can not do this unless we were raised with Christ and we can not be raised with Christ unless we died with Christ. Neither died with Christ nor were raised with Christ is due to our effort. Just like being born again is the work of the Holy Spirit. That is why the Scripture says in Gal 5:25
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

因此，這是非常重要的，我們要回到未來的觀點，尋求天上的事。我們要祈望、深思、並且將我們的心思放在上面的事。我們不能做到這一點，除非我們與基督一同復活；我們不能與基督一同復活，除非我們與基督同死。無論是與基督同死、或與基督一同復活，不是靠我們的努力。正如同基督的重生是聖靈的工作。這就是為什麼聖經，在加拉太書5:25說
25我們若是靠聖靈得生，就當靠聖靈行事。

One of the great benefits of back to future perspectives is that we will have heavenly views on the truth and hence  we will enter the truth and the truth will set us free from all our addictions and afflictions.

回到未來觀點的一個很大的好處是，我們面對真相、將會有屬天的看法；我們將會進入真理，而且真理必讓我們、擺脫所有的成癮和痛苦。

If you are Christians, you would be very much concerned about where we are going today in this world. One overwhelming trend is that the human race is in a huge storm of chaos; not only in political systems but also in moral systems. The world culture is going against traditional values and ventures onto  the unchartered course of “everything goes and everybody for him/herself” experiment.

如果你是基督徒，你一定會很關心，在當今的這個世界裡，我們將何去何從。一個勢不可擋的趨勢是，人類是處在混亂、且巨大的風暴中，不論是在政治制度，也包含了道德體系。世界文化的氛圍是反對傳統觀念，且冒進到一條無法預估、難以規範的路上，進行著"我行我素，自私自利”的實驗。

In a post modernism society that we live, everything is spin-able by the mainstream media. For the pundits, the line between lies and truth is very fussy. Worst, the lies become half truth  as one of the pundits’ spin tools for the sake of political correctiveness and there is nothing sacred anymore. Through out history, political machinery always uses the  right words to entice “goodness for the poor,  freedom for individual choice, and greens for the environment”.

身處在後現代化的社會裡，一切都可以被主流媒體操控。權威人士的謊言與真相之界線，是模糊不清的。最糟糕的是將謊言變成半真假，更是專家們為政治利益而顛三倒四、混淆是非的一個手法；再也沒有什麼是神聖不可欺的事了。歷史上，政治機器總是用正確的言語，如以“照顧窮人，維護個人自由的選擇，和綠色的環境“，冠冕堂皇的包裝、來“誘惑”人們。

As Christians, we desperately need to back to basics. Here are a few basics for your practice:

A. First of all, we need to protect the truth of our belief. That is, we were chosen by our Lord Jesus Christ to bear fruits (John 15:16).  We were born of God because we believed in Jesus Christ our Lord(John 1:13) and shall return to our Heavenly home when our given ministry on this earth is complete.
B. Before return to our Lord Jesus Christ in our last day, we shall treasure our earthly family. Thus, our home, marriage, and children are our main interest and devotions. Our responsibilities to our home, marriage, and children are our priorities. This means working hard to make a decent living is a never ending goal.
C. Need to treasure our health and maintain it by healthy habits including regular exercise, right food, and good rest.
D. Do pray regularly, meditate on the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible, and obey His commandments of loving one another. and witness Him.
E. Do not follow the fads of this world such as lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride of this life. Rather seek the indwelling Holy Spirit guidance in our daily life.
F. Open our eyes to enjoy how great our God in His creation around us and praise Him for His loving kindness and grace upon grace unto us in our daily activities.
G. Always keep a precious  high view about life and relationship. Truly live our life one day at a time. Appreciate it, enjoy it and be grateful always to our God who is the source of life .
In short, back to basics is for every one to treasure the few absolute high valued factors and form a living habit to include these high values factors in our daily life. This living habit shall be permeated with affinity towards our Heavenly Father and with love towards our precious Lord Jesus Christ who died for us to make this marvelous eternal life a living joy for us. May all praises, honors, glory be to our loving triune God forever and ever, Amen!

作為基督徒，我們迫切需要回歸本源。這裡是您的實踐的一些基本知識：
A.首先，我們需要保護我們所信念的真理。也就是說，我們是被我們的主耶穌基督揀選了，並且分派我們去結果子，叫我們的果子常存！（約翰福音15:16）。我們乃是從神生的(約翰福音1:13）, 因為我們相信主耶穌基督。當我們在這個地球上、完成了所賦予的任務時。我們應返回到我們的天家。

B.在我們回到我們主耶穌基督的最後一天之前，我們應當珍惜我們在塵世的家庭。因此，我們的家庭、婚姻和孩子是我們主要關注和奉獻的對象。我們對我們的家、婚姻和孩子的責任是我們的優先事項。這意味著，努力有一個端正的生活，是一個永無止境的目標。
C.需要珍惜我們的健康和維持健康的生活習慣，包括經常運動、正確適當的食物和足夠的休息。
D.要經常祈禱，默想我們的主耶穌基督、在聖經中給我們的教導，聽從祂要彼此相愛的誡命，並見證祂。
E.不要跟隨這個世界的時尚潮流，如肉體的情慾，眼目情慾，和今生的驕傲。而要在日常生活中、尋求內住我們的聖靈的引導。
F.睜開眼睛，享受我們的上帝在我們周遭的偉大的創建； 讚美祂在日常活動中，一再給我們的慈愛和恩賜。
G.始終保持對生命和關係，有高度珍惜的態度。好好的過著每一天。欣賞它，享受它，永遠感謝我們生命之源的上帝。
總之，回到本源是每個人要珍惜幾個絕對高度重視的因素。在我們所養成日常生活的習慣中，包含這些我們所高度重視的因素。這日常生活習慣中，應該洋溢着我們對天父的親屬温情，以及我們對主耶穌基督的熱愛，因為祂的十字架替我們受死，使我們能享有永生的喜樂。願一切的尊貴、頌讚、榮耀歸給愛我們的三位一體的上帝，阿們！

我們神是獨一的主

以色列阿，你要聽！耶和華 ─ 我們神是獨一的主。

你要盡心, 盡性、盡力愛耶和華─你的神。(申6:4-5)

There is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.(See 1 Coringthians 8:6)

The name which is above every name that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

主耶穌的絕對優越性—無不口稱耶穌為主 (西 1:15-20)

主耶穌榮耀無比的十字架

Obedience to God is much better than offering sacrifices - Hos 6:6

Self-denial and be patient in enduring afflictions are the God's ways for us in following Jesus Christ our Lord - Matthew 16:24

Goal of Redemption is in Sanctification of the Spirit, through Obedience to Jesus Christ, and be Holy to the LORD. Be Ye Holy, For I am Holy.
